I have been riding motorcycles and racing in motorsports for 20+ years. The story of my life is about great victories and championships- and about tragedy and lose.
I have traveled the US & to a lesser extent, the World-
I have had the great good fortune of living in 10+ cities in the US- some of them most beautiful, in fact -- I have lived in mountains and climbed in summer and winter. I have lived on oceans and had the great privledge to swim with dolphins.... and have had the divine blessing of sharing with many, so many beautiful, wonderous things....
Racing motorsports is a microcosm of human life - with ups and downs- triumphs and tragedies. You cannot live an enlightened and balanced life, until you fully understand that life is not about whether we win or lose, but how we play the game- how we live our lives- and how we act towards others, within this the biggest race of all, - The Human Race.
There is an honest, quiet beauty in the sunrises and sunsets over waters, over mountains, over forrests, and upon the infinite plains. Desserts, buttes, green and deepened woodlands- and mountains that at once spring up from-- and tumble into-- the sea.
To understand and celebrate freedoms like we have in the United States of America- to have such documents as the US Constitution, and The Bill Of Rights- must give us all reverent pause-
And we each and everyone of us- in our turn, should read these historic works that frame our world- and we all must realize that we ourselves, and these special documents, these give us our lives to wonder at the beauty of such sacred scenes. And these scenes inside and around us- they are in our hearts and souls- they are in the natural beauty of the ocean and mountain sky-
and sometimes- when we are in sync with the world and life around us-
we reach our own simple nirvana- we become one with the world around us.
For me this happpens in many different ways-
sometimes aboard my watercraft surrounded by ocean views- sometimes aboard my motocross bike within the rythym of the ride...
sometimes as I climb higher and ski the virgin snows...
sometimes when we make love --endless, timeless, wieghtless, divine
And in such simple supple moments We become one with the natural beauty of the world...
and I hope to share with you the peace and triumph I have beheld....
For this is but a part a of me...an ever deepening, living well. |
