Interests 80's music, astronomy, sci-fi/fantasy books & movies (especially the Discworld series), comics (Spider-Man among others), anthropomorphic artwork, anime

I just consider myself a child of the 80's.. love finding shows that I grew up watching..always amazes me in ways to see how cheesy some of those shows are now (heh such as Knight Rider)..

I always know where my towel is...and I carry it proudly on May 25th in honor of Douglas Adams, who was another of my childhood heroes..

One thing I should mention about movies is that I love any that deal with pulp action heroes, such as Indiana Jones, etc.

I should also put this in here..if you ever see me respond with BCNU, it is something that I do because of another favourite series of mine called "The Prisoner".. one of the key phrases was "Be Seeing You" so I just shortened it..

Morituri Nolumus Mori! (rough translation for non-Pratchett fans.. We who are about to die don't want to.. taken from "The Last Hero")

btw, if it ever looks like there is a lot of time between posts, there is a reason for that. Due to my back problems, I can't spend a lot of time in front of the computer..at most maybe an hour or so at a time.. some times I have better days and I can spend longer here..then I go through periods where I have to be very careful..I do try to keep up with as many topics as I can here.. if it looks like I go quiet for a day or so, there is a good reason for it..
