A Little About Me...
I am currently a student still, and trying to get out of it ASAP so I can get my life started already!
There's really not much to say. I'm nothing special, and I'm not all that good at self-advertisement... I'm just your average joe, trying to get through an average life however I can, really.
I have lived an average life, thus far, although I have been through my fair share of trials, sorrows, and hardships. I first discovered I was bi when I was very young, and that I was a zoo about 10 years ago. Ever since, it's been a constant battle to keep these things (at least, my zoophilia) secret from my friends and family, as they would not understand. I found this site in 2004, and when I was going through a very rough time. I knew there had to be other people out here with the same interests (and sexual preferences) as me, but could find none. How does one ask "Do you like to have sex with animals?" Then, one miraculous night, I found this site. I joined immediately, and came to realize that the zoo community was out there, and larger than I ever dreamt possible. And I know there's still countless more who weren't on here. The new was heartening, to say the least. I made many friends on here, and am proud to be a member!
Growing up, I was always the pariah, the social outcast, and my school life was never kind to me. Even the teachers would sneer at me and my hobbies. Needless to say, it explains much of my resentment towards much of society in general and especially the current educational system. Even now, I have a hard time making friends outside the internet, and am painfull shy in person (but I am far from shy, once you get to know me!) Even now, I am most at ease on the fringes of society. Keenly observant of what goes on around me, but still distant and removed. I have survived through the years through careful observance, insatiable curiousity, and brutal honesty. I have very little time for polite niceties, and even less for lies. I know that survival is often a gift of chance. I know I am only human, and can make mistakes, and do not want to die.
I've made my share of mistakes in the past, as everyone else has. Now a little bit older and a little bit wiser (I heavily emphasize "little") I have no interest in fame, glory, or money. What I do, I do because I believe it to be just, and that I am capable.
I was forced to take a leave of absence from the internet in general for a few years, for personal reasons I don't care to discuss here (it's still a touchy topic for me) however, I am back, and here to stay for as long as you all will allow me.
I apologize if this seems depressing or "emo" ish... I'm actually not like that at all, if you've seen my posts! For the most part, I'm just a goofy, fun-loving nutbar! But I can be serious and well spoken if the occasion calls for it.
My interests include Anime & Manga, despite my limited collection and experience with it. I love the stuff! But what I love more, are video games. There are some who would view such things as childish trivialities, a childish plaything to escape reality. I see it as a pleasant vacation from the harsh realities of the world, but I do not obsess over them. As much as I love them, they are still only games, and will not put food in front of me, pay my bills, or further my own personal development. I also enjoy firearms (a.k.a. "guns") to a lesser extent, having some knowledge in the area, but being far from well-versed. Many firearms I am not familiar with (especially foreign and older models), but the ones the average layman knows of, I can give at the least, the pros and cons of each, describing their own virtues and flaws, and history, on a few. I am not a member of the NRA, and do not advocate guns for everyone. I do not approve of killing in general, and am not much of a war buff. I simply admire the technological ingenuity of them, and their capabilities, and view them not so much as weapons, but rather as tools. Powerful tools that must be shown the appropriate respect.
I am currently single, having one previous relationship that ended badly, and hope to find someone who shares my interests (and definately my sexual preference) at some point. I am a smoker, and while I do still smoke, I am in the process of quitting. I will update this ASAP as soon as I stop, and stop for good.
All I ask of you, who took the time to read this, is do the following: Do not judge me or belittle me for who I am and what I think. I would do no less for you.
