Does she want, or do you want her to want? I often ask myself why this question is asked so often this way, once a week or so..? ;)

try teasing him - ge her to gently play fight and wrestle with him, if he goes near her back end she should whip it away until hes really wanting to mount.

As above, is she in heat? Have you had the male dog checked out by your local vet?

Furst I would suggest hitting up the FAQ sheets in the how to section for all the basics on woman/dog sex. Those should cover all the basics. Also, it would be helpful to tell us more about your dog, how old is he, what breed, is he neutered?

Some dogs just don't want to mount people. Don't try to 'make' him do anything, it might only add to his stress.

my dog is a golden retriever, 2 yrs old. :D

Well lets assume he is not neutered. At two years of age he should be old enough to start training. Once again I suggest reading the FAQ pages before starting his education. Only word I can give at this time, don't rush things and don't be discouraged by slow results. Some dogs can take longer to educate than others. Keep us updated on your progress.
