well since the author said himself that there has never been a documented case of this happening, i think that it would go to say that most of this is speculation.

Like I also said; The entire guide is based on the theory of known big cat behavior. Untill someone dares giving it a try we won't have anything else to go on. As long as that person does understand all risks involved in doing so.

Has it happened? I guess we will never know. If you think about it, the people who have access to big cats are gonna stand out as they are few and far between. Documenting a successful mating between cat and human would be impossible unless they decided at very high risk to tell about it.

There have been cases of people entering zoos or sanctuaries and going naked to the lions and paying the price. I can think of two, one in Washington D.C. in the early 70's when a naked women entered the enclosure at the D.C. zoo and was devoured. Another in Germany in 1998 when a 27 year old man entered naked and three lions killed and partially ate him. Interestingly, in at least his case there was no suicide note or any indication he intended suicide. In the case of the woman, I can only go on recollection from reading about it, but I don't think there was a suicide note in that case either. I'm just wondering aloud as to the intentions of these victims. Could these have been "unsuccessful" attempts?

I remember a few of those. The one in 1998 in Germany I believe did leave a 'sort of' suicide note. The guy left his clothing outside the cage with a note that said something along the lines of 'Sorry for the mess'.

Despite that I doubt any of these cases were people attempting to have sex with them. Maybe get close to them for some reason but anyone who has a big fantasy like this is expected to have decent knowledge of the animals too. Surely anyone with a normal brain would know that having sex with a zoo cat just is calling for instant death?

I agree, anyone with a normal brain would know they were in for a bad time. I don't doubt the people who did this were not right in the head. I just wonder what their intentions were. There are also a couple of instances of people going in under the pretense that "God would save them"...that's not being sucidal, thats being delusional.

The 27 yr old in Germany "neatly stacked his clothes outside of the lions cage" and then apparently went in to introduce himself to the kitties. I dunno, knowing your gonna suicide and yet you then take the time to fold your clothes just seems at odds to me.

It's not really gross or anything, it just explains what happened and what the cats did to him (In fact, when they found the poor guy, one of the cats was proudly sitting on top of him "looking smug" :rolleyes: No disrespect, but I found that little tidbit rather amusing)

I can pretty much imagine what they must have done to him, but thanks anyway. I saw a video of some guy being mauled to death in a safari park once. Leaves little room for interpetation :).

God...damn...that was the greatest big cat guide I've ever read, actually it's the only big cat sex guide I've ever read!! :lol: Can't believe how unbelievably horny that's made me. Lionesses...they have got to be the sexiest creatures on the face of the planet and they're so friendly to people they know, the wild ones...not so much... :lol: but I've seen vids of tame lionessess and they are the sweetest creatures imaginable. I wonder how far that affection could go...? I can only dream. ^_^
