about 20 times up till 1989, and only twice since then (talk about a dry spell :blink: )

Hopefully that'll change next time my 2yo comes in heat, if not, then another 6 month drought. If still nothing, then probably a 10 year dry spell before I can get another girl and try again (I wouldn't get rid of either of my girls just because they won't/can't "put out" for me, and I want them to live a full life ^_^ ).

Hope you don't mind if a newbie jumps in. I don't own a pet but I have access to several through my volunteer work. So I would say I am able to link with a dog two weekends a month. Usually it will be several times a day for those weekends in question. I am not attracted to all the dogs I have access to but I have four favorites. They all seem quite willing and even eager to play.

5 times a week, when kids are at school, some times weekends depending on when I can find the time. I am married with 4 boys, hubby know and does not mind, but would die if my kids found out.

I try to do it at least weekly. Sunday afternoons is usually reserved for this. Sometimes if Hubbie and I have friends over we do it more.

I'm one of those unfortunates that has never had the chance to live out my fantasy... :( Though that may be changing within a year or so, if I can get an apartment that will allow me to have dogs, and close enough to work so I can walk them on my lunch breaks. :)

If I *did* have a bitch or mare, I'd honestly like to do it daily, if not multiple times daily...but that would depend on a lot of things of course, like how much spare time I have for "extra-curricular activities", how my human partner feels about it (she said she wouldn't mind if I did it, but I don't want her to feel jilted), and, most of all, on how often my 4-legged ladies feel like doing it. Suffice to say, I want to keep them as pleased as possible! :D

Yes I guess seeing this forum really put it out there that it is an activity people do do and you really wouldnt know.

I know for a while after my partner confessed his feelings to me I would look at anyone with a big dog and wonder what they were up to :P

Hopefully soon we will have our own dog so i will be in for an experience :D
