I cant see for the life of me why i would want to share such a personal thing with people that are not that close to me or even if they are if its of no use to tell them...why do it because letting that out can only come to bad and life can be hard enough at times with out me making it harder :)

Yep, don't have a problem with it. If someone asks, I'll answer.

I say no because people that I know face to face, and that know me would find pleasure in the humiliation of telling everyone about me. That is probably why I don't know many people and would prefer to surround myself with caring animals if I could.
Of course, knowing that there are like minded people(zoos) out there is a plus.

If someone I knew really came to me and asked me to be completely honest and say if I was a zoo or not, I would probably say yes. If a stranger asked me, I would not answer the question at all.


For me, there isn't a time where I will deny who and what I am. I will either speak the truth or say nothing at all.


Currently, my last two boyfriends and two RL friends are aware of my desires and the lifestyle I'm gladly going towards.

Currently, my best male friend not only knows but encourages my feelings towards animals. He finds it attractive as well. So, I don't have to hide my interests when talking to two people in my real life, and when I chat with my two most recent ex boyfriends online every now and then, I don't have to watch every word that I type like I'm hiding something.

Even in today's supposdly enlightened society we are in the minority. For our own personal safety we remain behind tightly closed doors.

i WAS totaly closed.... but now... i think im open to talk with people about it... because i started last night by telling my best girl friend that i was bi zoo and first she was suprised... but after, she get pretty interested... i dont think people would really mind... if they are smart enough, they will understand that its OUR way and not them... so, yes, now i think im open to talk about it to anyone.... :P

I have never found anyone I could feel comfortable being open about it with, and since I work in the animal health care field I don't intend on being open about it an possibly losing my job.

i said no, if only for the reason that i wouldn't tell my rents, i thought about saying. Yes to some, but when i found this site, i knew that i would not need to tell others, as i would recive all the support i would need from you guys.

I have told three people, all of whom loved the idea of watching, but i have decided that i would like to keep my boyfriend and my animal friends seperate.

I'm not a small person and I've had to learn to accept who I am, and it's through much hardship I am proud of who I am.
Naturally I don't openly advertise the fact, but I see no need to lie. I am who I am and it's not my problem if someone has an issue with it.
If they have an issue with it, I don't force anyone to interact with me. If it's somewhat necessary due to work commitments, I would hope that I'm shown respect even on a purely professional level, and with what I do I have to deal with a number of people who should be able to act professional and like an adult.

However I do understand that with what I've gone through that someone would come out the other side completely opposite and be completely introverted and not trusting anyone. And an inherent mistrust of the human race is rational, as long as you are happy knowing you are what you are and you can not change the fact, that's all that matters.
