I write a lot of short stories and am now writing a novel. A lot of these short stories are of...well a private nature if you catch my drift. And so I thought, why not post them on here? THis particular one is new, and also my first attempt at writing it about a women instead of a man.
So, here's is the intro, I'll post more material once I get a chance :P

Part 1

“And just what the f*** do you call this!?” Her father stabbed his finger onto the card, spittle practically flying from his mouth.
“Wait dad, just waitwa-”
Her father flung the report card to the tiles. “Three hundred dollars! Three hundred spent on tutoring! Three hundred to get you that A on your report, and you’re telling me it was all for nothing!?”
She felt a tingling run over her skin. The way it always did when she became terrified. “Dad it was a pass or fail exam she gave us no middle ground! I couldn’t-”
“Like hell you couldn’t! You always give me this…”
It was the same story. The same rattling from the windows, the same worried and cringing expression on her face. It wasn’t her fault! She had spent time to get a perfect grade! Spent hours, days weeks! And because she left out one font! Just one single font she had to go through this.
“… And you’re never going to touch another one of those games again until your worthless mind actually functions! You are 20 years old! I am not going to send you to tutor classes for another four years! Understand!?”
Meekly. “Dad look call my teacher she can tell you it was nothing with my head it-”
He slapped her. Just like that, his heavy hand slammed into her face, leaving a sick headache in the back of her skull as her teeth slammed into each other.
His breathe, sweet with alcohol drifted into her nostrils. “Understand!?”
She froze. The steady dripping of vodka pooled beneath the carpet from the upturned bottle. Her cheek felt hot and numb. Two, uncomforting tears welled up in her eyes. More from the emotion than the pain. A clear crystal of liquid ran down her inflamed cheek and dropped to the floor.
She ran. Not bothering to shrug off her backpack until she had slammed the front door shut. The hard pavement jolted up her ankles and her father was screaming. Screaming at her to come back.
She sprinted a few blocks before slowing down to a jog. She was panting and her throat was hurt but she ignored the pain, pulling into herself. One thought circulated her head.
F*** alcohol F*** alcohol F*** alcohol F*** alcohol!
How, how could he have done that to her? Her other marks were all passing. Nothing was lower than a B. Nothing but that computer grade… Why did that stupid excuse of a teacher have to make it pass or fail? Why? The final exam, fifty percent of her grade… the teacher had just given them a piece of paper with a letter on it, and told them to change it to look like the second sheet of paper as she showed it around. It was very darn well obvious she knew the material The only thing that she had missed was the fact that the second sheet was done in Arial, and she had done it on the default Times New Roman.
God…No one. Not her mother, her friends, or even her ex. No one had ever hit her. And over such a trivial reason to. It wasn’t like she was a lesbian. It wasn’t like she was a pedophile or a zoophile. Those were understandable reasons. She shuddered. Disgusting. She was perfectly normal…a good child.
She felt the tears well up in her eyes again. What could she do? Now that she had left it would be all the worse once she returned. Her father had not bothered chasing her. It was obvious he expected her to come back.
She felt a defiance rise up in her. She wouldn’t come back. At least not for a few days. Scare the little F***head perhaps. She could shoplift some snacks and water. She would have to come back eventually, but for now she just wanted to get as far away from the b****** as possible. Perhaps it finally was time to move out. She was old enough God knew…but she had no where to go. She had no job. No money. No relatives within the state. To hell with it. She would come back, but not for long. Get some supplies and run away again, but this time for good. And when she did come back, it would be with-
She tripped over something and fell on her palms. Her hands landed into sticky mud. The scent of pines suddenly filled her nostrils. She glanced up and froze for a few seconds. Birds sang and flitted about as a gentle breeze flattened grass to the ground. She was in the forest.

Part 2. Don't worry about 5 page intros I'm coming to it :)

She stood up and turned around. Nothing but deep forest. For a second her mind was blank, all thoughts of her father swept aside with awe. She must have walked straight into here. But the forest was four miles away from her house. She had jogged four miles? Well her throat was evidence of that.
God, she was so pissed that she hadn’t paid the slightest attention to her surroundings. She began to walk back the way she came, thoughts of her father occasionally flitting through her head. First things first, she needed to get back to the city. There was no way she was farther than a mile in there, and it shouldn’t be too difficult to get back to the edge.
Her foot sank into an extremely soft patch of mud, falling down to almost ankle height. A hiss of annoyance came from her, more from the impatience that comes with despair than anything else. She yanked back, but the shoe was firmly lodged in the mud. Her foot, on the other hand, was yanked out of the shoe and, overbalanced, she fell backward on her rump. She sat there, fuming. God she looked stupid right there. It might have been funny had she been in a good mood. But now she just wondered if she should just take a nap. Hike a little more until she could see the city and then rest a little.
She stood up, and careful not to step back into the mud she took hold of her stuck shoe and yanked it out, stumbling back a bit. And just as she was wiping it off the afternoon grass she felt the first drops of rain hit her head.
“Oh no. Oh…please be a sprinkle just a little sprinkle. Darn it.”
But the rain was light for only a few seconds. Hardly moments after, the sky split open, hailing bucketfuls of water on the tree tops. She spun around and walked to the nearest tree, the one she had fell back next to. She was about to take shelter at it’s trunk when she saw it. A tunnel in a raised patch of earth. The patch was partially molded onto the tree and the hole was pretty big, considering the surrounding area. Big enough to accommodate two humans, never mind one wet, dirty, and exhausted girl. She crouched at the holes entrance, gazing inside. After the first few feet the miniature cave was indistinguishable from the darkness. She started to get up, then sat back down. What if something already lived inside this cave? The last thing she needed was waking up next to a rattlesnake. Well, the hole seemed a little too big for a snake…what if there was a bear though? She yelled into the tunnel as loud as she could, then waited. Nothing stirred. Still though...Well it wasn't like she was going to crawl inside. Just sit at the edge maybe...
The water was pooling around her feet. Oh screw it.
Being careful not to muddy her knees, she climbed inside the mouth of the tunnel. It went farther on before turning, but all she wanted was to get out of the rain and not explore caves at random. She curled her body into a ball, hugging her knees to her chest. As the rain poured down outside, her thoughts wandered and she eventually found herself drifting off to sleep.

She awoke as a freezing cold wall of water slammed into her. Thunder boomed out and lighting flashed beneath black clouds as sheets of water pounded the ground. She barely sat up before another wave slammed her back down, only this time the water did not recede. A strong current dragged her under and she had a glimpse of water six feet deep flooding through the land before the force of the flood shoved her down into the cave. Her back slammed into a wall and the full weight of the water fell on top of her. She caught a last glimpse of a circle of sunlight, and then she was swept into the blackness. The pounding of water was momentarily reduced to a spray on her face and she drew a breathe before being thrown back under. She could see nothing, hear nothing but the roaring of liquid. Her body slammed into another wall and she cried out underwater, automatically drawing a breathe and choking. And then she was falling. Her mind was slowly fading within pure terror and confusion. She tried to swim but the force was to strong and she was swept around like a rag doll. She was going to die. She was going to die in this pitch black place under a ton of water and-
She was falling. Shards of light refracted through the water as the earth beneath her gave away, throwing her bruised and drowning body down somewhere below. Her side slammed into something hard but she hardly felt it, opting to gasp as much air into her lungs as possible while a waterfall beat her head. She managed to open her eyes one more time and saw it. Something huge and blood red. Two golden eyes stared into hers. Then it all swirled down into darkness.

Meh. I like a lot of dragon colors and black is among my preffered ones as well. But I just chose red because it this particular guy doesn't seem to be black...ish.
Or greenish.
And I'm just curious, which legends have you read? Chinese or...?

Well who cares. Dragons rule in general :)
Thanks for all your input guys

Part 3

The first thing she felt was warmth. A wonderful warmth that felt as if she had been curled up under three blankets for ten hours. Then she heard something crackling and opened her eyes. An earthen ceiling met her gaze. With some roots hanging here and there. An amber light flickered over them, throwing hundreds of shadows here and there. Suddenly she remembered everything that had happened and sat bolt up right. The tunnel, water, fall… Fall? Where exactly had she fallen? She turned her head to the side and froze.
Not five feet from her, lay an enormous head, and two eyes staring at her. Red scales ran down the neck and covered the muscles webbing beneath. It was a dragon. Something from countless legends and fairy tales. A dragon. Something that was not supposed to exist. It lay on it’s side, legs curled like a dog, and it’s head rested along the earth floor, staring at her. For nearly half a minute they stayed that way, neither moving an inch. Then her mind started working again. After the initial shock of seeing a dragon and natural questions and flitting thoughts of things like “What the hell?”
she thought about what to do. Oh god what do you say to something like this. Not to mention couldn’t it just kill her? Heaven knew what those teeth were capable of. But then again, she was still alive now wasn’t she? It hadn’t killed her yet. And who knew how long she had been out.
She decided to say something. But couldn’t decide what.
In a barely perceptible voice, “H-hello?”
The eyes blinked. English… The mouth did not move but she heard it. A voice that was somehow perfectly calm and vicious at the same time. Her skin crawled the moment she heard it.
Trembling. “Wha…what?”
The head lifted off the ground slightly. First, you would do well to calm down. You look as if you’re about to faint. And second, before you ask, no I am not going to harm you…yet. And yes I am a dragon. Somehow you humans have a tendency to ask the obvious.Only one thing reached her mind. “Y-yet? Look I‘m very confused and scared could…could you…?”
Could he what? She was rambling.
“I thought. I thought dragons…weren’t real. Wait. What? Oh my god…”
I already told you to calm down. Would you act this way if you woke up to a human? A complete stranger true, but human nonetheless? I’m talking aren’t I? So what exactly is the difference that makes me so terrifying? Treat me as if I’m simply another stranger. And the first thing that strangers do when they meet, is introduce themselves. So…whom am I speaking with?
Her mind was blank. Thoughts ceased and she felt as if she could do nothing but answer this question. “Angela?”
A chuckling came from the dragon. It’s sides shook slightly and it’s head partially swung to the side.
Why do you answer with a question? And as for my part, I have no name. None that you could pronounce at any rate. Believe me it’s easier to talk with someone without using names than it seems.
“ You…you wouldn’t hurt me?
I already said that did I not?
“ Um. Well…What am I doing here? Actually… Where is here?
If I recall properly. You fell in through the roof. You have been unconscious since then. And the answer to the second question, is about half a mile underground in my humble residence.
“Oh.”
The dragon did not bother to reply. It’s head turned to the other wall and gazed at the head high fire that was burning merrily away.
She looked at it’s back for a few seconds and gathered her courage again.
“Um… Mr.…. Sir?
The eyes turned to look at her again. Yes?
“Are there any rules or anything? I mean…I don’t know you… Or anything about you… and well. Well I don‘t want to offend you or…” She trailed off feebly.
The dragon considered her for several seconds before actually replying. Only one. And it should be simple to enforce. Do not attempt to leave here. If you try, you shall not only find it almost impossible, but I shall prevent you myself. Forcibly if necessary.

Part 4.

For a time she couldn’t reply. Her mind was a blank slate. This creature had saved her life. Well no, actually it had spared her life, not saved it. But now it wasn’t going to let her go? What reason could it have for keeping her here? Tales of dragons capturing fair maidens ran through her head. Sometimes they would just eat them…but others they would turn them into their slaves. And rape. She gave an involuntary shudder. Could this animal possibly try to rape her? It had been kind so far. In a strange sort of way. But what if that knowing voice suddenly turned to one of wrath?
She gave another shudder. Just thinking about it made her feel frightened. And then her voice of reason spoke. It hadn’t harmed her yet, nor violated her, and certainly had the time to do so. It hadn’t even touched her. There was no reason for it to start up now. That was, unless she offended it.
Well there was no way she could just sit here and think about what it might do to her. She could at least get some answers. Or maybe get on the dragons good side.
“Well. May I ask why?”
The dragon had gone back to watching the flames after it’s last sentence, and as before it turned it’s gaze back to hers. A strange feeling washed over her as the eyes looked into hers. A sudden comfort, a familiarity. She felt as if she had been away from home for a long time and was just now settling back into her bed.
Yes, you may.
For a second she stared at him, then realized what it meant. For some reason, it seemed to like word play.
“Oh. Um. Well then, why?”
As before, the dragon paused for about a minute. It’s gaze never wavering from hers until she was forced to look away. The dragon did not immediately answer directly. I have spent more time in this world than any creature known to me. I have watched empires rise, fall, be written of in books. I have fought in countless wars between the races and between humans, each time for reasons I seldom understood.
Since the fall of my native and forgotten land, every time I saw the eyes of your kind they were filled with either malice or hollowness. Your race is steadily eating away at itself. The vast majority of you have no sentiency which you so commonly invoke in their speeches.
I am The Guardian of Russ!
I have spent too much time in this world to distrust my experience.
If I allow you to leave, eventually it will bring me harm. Whether you intend to or not, someone else will discover it from you. Even if you do not speak of me willingly. I have not seen a comrade for so long I can hardly remember their eyes. I may very well be among the last. And I have no intention of surrendering my life just yet. That is why I am not permitting you to leave. And know this. I shall not trust you with my life no matter what the circumstances, until you can willingly trust me.
Angela drew back into herself, stunned. The eyes followed her, watching her reaction. She gazed at the palms of her hands for a few moments. She had not yet fully considered how…intelligent this being was. True, it spoke. But she had somehow considered it to be lower. Like a primate. Intelligent but an animal nonetheless. She had never even considered the fact that this creature could have a history or treat humans as something besides an object. Yes, the dragon did not seem to like humans, but it did not speak of them like they were ants. Enemies may be enemies, but it seemed to treat them with a certain respect, however slim it may be.
She then realized that she had been so inconsiderate of the dragon, that she had not even thought of it as existing…
She wanted to remedy this, although she knew not why. “Are you a he or a she?”
The eyes seemed amused. I am a male.
She sat for several more minutes as he watched her, and then asked the most important question on her mind. “What do you mean by trusting you?”
I mean, that the amount of trust I put in you, shall be equal to that you place within me. And I strongly doubt that is very much at this moment.
“And if I did. If I trusted you, would you let me go?”
He chuckled again. She gave another shudder. Somehow that chuckle calmed her and terrified her. It was knowing and primitive at the same time. There would be no reason not to, although I doubt you would wish to leave by that time.
A slow anger sparked in her. He talked as if he knew everything about her. He had no right to keep her here! “Well I don’t have a reason to tell about you. I never even wanted to be here! You’re not even supposed to exist! And now you’re telling me I can’t leave, because you don’t trust me!? I’m trusting you right now! You could kill me at any moment! You! You…”
She suddenly realized what she had just said. The eyes narrowed, and where previously she had felt fear and comfort at the same time, she now only felt cold fear. The jaws parted slightly, a mist of warm air. spreading from them.

Part 5.

She had done it. She was sure he would kill her now. All because she hadn’t kept her stupid tongue in check.. She shook with fear. Literally.
A very soft growl came from within his throat. The jaws closed.
There is one thing I ask of you. One thing I cannot endure. I want you to speak the truth. Nothing else. You have lied to me, but it was unknowingly. Speak the truth to me, do not lie.
You are here for a reason. A reason that you created. You did not enter this place because of rain or want for comfort. Weren’t the very reasons of your coming here anger and sorrow? You are not remaining here by your choosing. You are here because you are afraid of me. You fear what I may do should you leave.
I dragged you from the falling water which pounded you into unconsciousness. I have briefly spoken with you, and told you of what I have seen and done, however vague it may have been. But the only thing you have spoken of and wanted, is to leave this place. And I must ask you, why?

She did not realize he was asking a serious question at first. When she did she opened her mouth, and then shut it. She opened it again, “I have to get back to my father. He’ll be worried about me, I want to go because of him and-”
His head snapped back to her, and what she saw in his eyes truly frightened her more than anything as of yet. A much more intense growl rang out and his tail slammed into the ground, throwing earth and dust around.
When he spoke again, a only faint anger was present. I have asked you, not to lie to me. And the very next sentence you said was false. You wish me to believe, that you want to leave out of pure selflessness? That you want to return to the person, who has harmed you, and caused your being here in the first place?
I will ask once more, and only once. Do not lie to me again. Now, the truth. Why do you want to leave here?
Tears were welling in her eyes. Not from fear or sorrow, but because she truly felt guilty. She did not know why, but she didn’t want to offend him, and she had done it without even thinking. “I’m, I’m sorry. I…I just didn’t.”
The tears came freely now. “I’m afraid of you… I thought…that you were going to rape me. Even though you said you wouldn’t, I…I ” She hung her head and sobbed.
She felt him move closer and brought her head up to meet him only inches away. His eyes were soft and kind again. The terrifying anger was gone.
That’s it. You do not trust me, although you want to. Do not despair, I doubt it is anything you can control.
His jaws parted and is tongue moved to her face. She felt numb, not bothering to turn away. The warm, rough flesh flicked against her cheeks, taking the tears away. The moment he touched her a shiver ran down her spine. But it was not one of fear. A warmth blossomed in her and the guilt receded a little. The warm tongue felt good against her skin, but it went deeper than that. She suddenly felt something she had not felt for a long time. She felt as if her parent was hugging her and comforting her.
He repeated again, Do not despair.
His tongue flicked against the tip of her nose one last time and he moved away. She looked at him and gave a small sniffle, wiping the saliva from her face. “I think…I think I can trust you… in time.”
He looked at her, a warm amusement in his eyes. Your allegiance to morals stands in your way.
She didn’t quite understand. “What do you mean?”
Humans are ruled by their morals. It defines your every action. You frown upon same sex relationships. You say that certain actions and emotions are bad. You treat pain as if it were the enemy. I say again, your morals prevent you from placing your faith in me.
She thought for a second, making sure she knew that she believed in what she was about to say. “I think…I think that I can put heart in front of that.”
He looked at her, and had she not known better, she could have sworn he was laughing.
For a second his head weaved from side to side, and then he spoke. You would not only trust me. You would place me before your ideals? Place your true feelings before what society has taught you? You would put yourself in my power, my comfort, and tear away the restrictions that have been imprinted into your mind?
“I do not know if I would. But I think I could.”
His head nodded to her, and then. Prove it. Mate with me.
