I confined our mating to the bedroom for the first two months before expaning our play area. I still prefer the bedroom but love mating in the back yard at night and do it often.

Not to mention that it is much more comfortable than other places in the house and it's the place where I feel the most safe. Safety is a key factor to me. Also it's MY room.. no one elses. MINE...
