Um, my dog is a mix. She has been fix by my parents when i lived with them. I took her with me to collage and she lives with me know in my appartment. I have all ways whanted to have sex with her. i have fingered her be for and i was wondering if it was safe to have sex with her even thought she is fixed?

Depends... does she shows signs of being receptive? Does she enjoy it? Is she reasonably large enough to acomidate you? (usually labrador sized and up works). Each situation is so unique there's no clear yes or no answer... It's entirely up to the female. :D

Watch her body language, how does she act to sexual fondling, etc..? Remember to keep her well lubed up, it's not fun for anyone to dry out, and dogs that have been spayed/castrated can't produce enough lubrication of their own in most cases.

She likes it and she doesn't realy have a wetness problem. she stays pretty lubed by her self whin i finger her. i gess ill try it and if she does not seem to like it ill just stop right then

Well even if she is fixed it sometimes possible to have sex with her. It depends on how much of a vaginal canal she was left with at the time of spaying. A condition which varies from animal to animal and vet to vet (i.e. the doctor doing the surgery). A more basic question at this point would be, how big is she, in terms of body weight and stature? That will be a more overriding factor at this point.

has she had a litter or was she let go through some heats befor she was fixed .if so my smallest girl is fixed but had a litter before she was she is still into sex on the other hand my next girl was fixed as a puppy and has no intrest in it at all it depends on the dog watch your dog if you decide to go on with it as mine is only an inch or two deep and it stops you dont want to hurt her or more like it kill her .if you go to deep .its not out of the question if you do your reserch first but i would say get her a play mate thats not fixed if you want to do that again thats just me :D

I must apologize, I keep making a bad assumption about this kind of question presented in this thread. I am assuming that the aforementioned spaying is taking place AFTER the furst heat, or after at least one litter being whelped. Hence my earlier replies may seem too simplistic. As correctly pointed out by SARX and others, whether the female has been spayed prior to the furst heat is critical. If she has been then no even limited sex is not possible, regardless of the amount of function vaginal canal that is left. Again correctly pointed about by sarx and others, hormonal changes associated with sexual maturity change the nature, ie size and elasticity, of the sexual tissues. Without those changes having been present it is very unlikely to be able to comfortable or safely stretch out the vagina/vulva for sex. My apologies for any previous misconceptions I have given, my advice should be taken to refer to dogs that were post heat and post whelp spays, and not spays done when the animal was still physically immature.

Considered in a different point of view... think of it this way...

If a bitch is spayed before her first heat (when she's a puppy) she will, physically, remain a puppy. Sure she may get bigger in size (though spayed/neutered animals grow much differently then intact animals), but she will never develop sexually, her reproductive/sexual organs will remain, essentially, that of a puppy's. Taking that into consideration, one of the biggest "rules" preached here is to not begin sexual activities till the animal has matured, therefore, you would not have sex with a puppy. So wouldn't the same go for a bitch spayed before her first heat?
