I have been in the forum a few years… and from time to time there have been interactions that I have had, that have made me uncomfortable, or feel unsafe....

A few months ago I met a man in chat, and before I go farther with this issue, this could be between any members without regard to sex or sexual orientation. I added him to my messenger and began to chat with him. He was very charming, articulate and personable, and then one day the conversation got uncomfortable. To make a long story short, I deleted him and just ignored him when our paths crossed. His behavior continued with other lady members, personal information was shared… One of which was a friend of mine, a lady who is a presence in the forum. Conversation between she and I, revealed much of whom he was, a Troll.


This post is to add caution, again Only Fools Rush In, Internet Security Tips take care with who you share what information. It is also to invite you to be a part of the community and report someone with whom you have had a potentially dangerous experience. Not just irritating, or maybe rude, but one that might be threatening to the safety of other members. Do Not Post Remarks here. Please send all concerns to Neece in a PM thru the forum. Copy and paste chats, if they were the way the communication occurred, in the pm. If this becomes a known pattern of a certain member, then it will become known.

Hello. I have some problem entering the chat-room. I am new to this, but hoping that I am in the right spot to get some help with it.

I am traying to log into the chat-room, but instead of the chat-room I am getting up
the page where you are logging yourself on to the BeastForum.
Have done that severel times and still getting only that page up.
Have also several times logged myself in even when I still was logged on
but no chat-room are coming up at all.

What is it that I am doing wrong here?
Can anyone help me out and tell me what I am doing wrong, and what I need to do
to be able to enter the chat-room please.

Close the forum page and then login again but this time tick the box beside "Remember me" otherwise the chat will see you as not being loggedin.

Hello again. Sorry to say but I was to quick to say thank you.
I got in to the chat-room allright but then its stops.

I can see whose on, what they write, can also arrrange my profil there..
BUT to write and send I cant..

Been looking and looking and cant find it. Even read help to see if that
could be of any help, but no..

I am used to find it under the chatting window, but its not there..
Cant find it sorry to say.
I went in and out couple of times to see if it would appear but nothing.
If one of you read this, this was the reason.

Is the anyone here that could help me with my new problem..

Hi I tried getting into the chat room today and it says an error about the failed to connect. I tried to download the fash player and also cleaned out all the stuff but still doesnt work anything else I can do? Let me know thanks :)

Heya, I've been having trouble connecting to the chat room lately...some days it will let me in, other days it will be stubborn and not connect me. Is this just a case of it being down once and a while, or was I supposed to download something? O_o

No, you don't need to be an Elite or VIP member to upload an avatar; matter of fact, BF has a rather large library of avatars any member is free to choose from if they so wish. If you could specify exactly what problem you're having when you try to upload your own (such as an error generated by the forum or something related to your computer itself) that would help, but chances are your attempts haven't been successful because the image you are trying to set is too large in dimensions (height by width) or file size (storage volume space consumed by the image.) Resizing the picture will likely be necessary - if you don't have access to one, I can gladly do this for you.

Thanks for offerring to help Secret Admirer, looks as if the problem was at my end, I failed to reduce the file to 40k or below. Have now resized the picture again to below 40k, works well now. Thanks again for help. Like I've said before, learning all the time. :blush:
