Way back when I first realized I had an interest in female horses, I would feel really guilty. I would feel a combination of excitement and guilt. My hormones were so strong that I just couldn't help myself. But I always treated them with respect and love, andI came to terms with my relationship with my mares, and the guilt went away. Just do what feels right, and make sure you treat the animal with love and respect. Oh yeah, and don't get caught!

Yes, I've felt guilty off and on about it. There are several things to consider when you're feeling guilty.
1. Do you feel guilty because of a religious reason? If so, I can't help you. You'll have to do some soul-searching, praying, meditating, etc., to try to work that out.

2. Do you feel guilty because of the stigma against zoophilia, i.e., because society says it's wrong? To that I would say that society has been against many things, such as homosexuality, African Americans, women, the list goes on. Society has, over time, worked out some of its misconceptions, bugs, etc. I believe that in time, if people realize the zoophiles do not harm animals but extend their love for their pets "to the next level," they will accept us better.

3. Do you feel guilty because you might have harmed your animal? This has been the hardest one for me. I hate to think that I would harm a being that I love just for sexual gratification. For some, this is not so much of an issue. I'm neither condoning nor condemning those people. If it matters to you, research about your animal of choice. I learned from here that what I thought might have been harmful was really normal for my animal. When in doubt, learn about it first, then if it's okay, your animal doesn't have problems with what you're doing, and he/she seems to enjoy the experience, then go for it without feeling guilty.

I know oftentimes that people feel guilty about this. For me, the first one I felt was #3 above, but then once I cleared that, #2 came into play, too. Your reasons for feeling guilty are valid in that you feel that way, but consider why you feel that way, and you may decide that it's not worth feeling guilty about.

I hope that you can come to be happy with yourself and with your choices.

Best of luck to you!

We are zoos and are what we are ,Faith decided that the very first day of our existence, and we have to learn to live with that...If we have any regrets on our concept of love and fulfilment alongside another mate than humans , nobody but us have the power to decide our future path...But you can't whitstand faith , even if you decide to give it up, it will follow you the rest of your live, you'll think of it each time you'll see a mare or a dane or another animal you love.

Rather than TRY to ignore it , accept it,and be happy with....

Did you feel guilty because of what you did, or, what you thought others might think of you for your actions. Back in the my younger days, I can not remember exactly when I first started, but yes I did felt strange after I first did it the first time, and what would other people thing if they knew what I had just done. Over the years I have had many lovers from casual on night lover to full time lovers, I have always kept my life style a secret from the rest of world. I have had several close calls in the past but it was only just recently that I got caught. I was down on my hands and knees with my last lover over the top of my naked body when the lights were turned on as in walked two of the night staff. At the shock of the lights being turned on and other people talking he tried to pull back and get off me but with his giant knot locked deep inside my body there was no way that we could separate. The female nurse wanted to throw cold water over us but the male nurse told her to get lost and leave us alone. Then he disappeared for a minute or so, when he returned he was carrying a camera and took photos of us from many angles( for his private collection?) Now the door to my room is locked every night, plus I am not permitted to go near any animal on the grounds.

Thats unfortunate St Benard :( Atleast you can still have some lovin at home right... :)

Personally I dont feel guilty, why should I? My boi and I fool around because we want to, If he's in the mood,I have no problem surrendering myself to such a cute boi. I know he wants it, I know I really do too, whats there to feel guilty about?

I can't say that I have ever felt guilty about my animal experiences. I have known since the begining that it was abnormal, but that has never bothered me. But then again, my parents were rabid "sex is evil" kinds of people. No doubt that has largely shaped my ability to associate with my own species in a negative way. Because of that, I have always felt that it was feintly wrong to have any kind of social, much less sexual relationship with a human being.

It's pretty typical to feel some guilt if you do something out of what society considers the "norm" It doesn't just happen with being a zoo, but because of the degree of how far out of the norm they'll be a deeper feeling of guilt. A lot depends on your overall attitude, if your the don't give a crap about what society thinks type, then your going to have less problems.

Can't say I felt "guilty". Always was concerned about somebody walking in and catching me. I always felt "lonely",as I never knew anyoneelse into this, until getting on line and finding this and other sites. :)
