There has been some writing in the papers about a documentary exhibition in Norway, regarding homosexuality in animals. At least I think it is a documentary. Has anyone of you read something more about that exhibition, or do we even have folks from Norway here who have been there themself? (And don't mind to give us a summary)

I was there with my college class a few months back, and our teacher pulled some strings and got the best biologist on that area to tour us.
Basically there were some pictures on the walls, showing same sex animals mating. And there were lots of information all around on all animals. Extremely many types of animals are homosexual, and in some species there were up to 50% i think they said. that doesnt nearly sum it up, but i am really tired now.. if you want to know more, just post a reply and i will write a better rewiev |

I've heard of that in Oslo. Kinda fills me with anger that it took so damn long for a single person to realize what I'd known about for such a long time though.

I didn't get a chance to watch it, but the LOGO network had a television show on a couple weeks ago about homosexual animals.

I was going to say, I live in the UK and watched a show on TV about a year maybe two years ago. The man who presented it was American. He travelled in the US and spoke to a woman there who had done research. I seem to recall she lived on a farm in the mid-west. He also interviewed people in the UK I think about birds. In fact, I'm sure he visited the site in the UK where a pair of males had set up a nest together. I remember a lake and think it was a wading bird. Don't quote me on all this, I'm describing to the best of my memory. One thing I do remember is in the end, he found that it wasn't a case of whether or not it happened. He found plenty of evidence that it does. It had more to do with a Victorian mindset. This made some people refuse to believe it. Others simply ignored it. Bloody Victorians have alot to answer for I say! Hope this helps! peace BULLZdawg |

Strewth! Australia rocked by 'lesbian' koala revelation
By Roger Dobson Published: 25 February 2007 Female koalas indulge in lesbian "sex sessions", rejecting male suitors and attempting to mate with each other, sometimes up to five at a time, according to researchers. The furry, eucalyptus-eating creatures appear to develop this tendency for same-sex liaisons when they are in captivity. In the wild, they remain heterosexual. Scientists monitoring the marsupials with digital cameras counted three homosexual interactions for every heterosexual one. "Some females rejected the advances of males that were in their enclosures, only to become willing participants in homosexual encounters immediately after," say the researchers. "On several occasions more than one pair of females shared the same pole, and multiple females mounted each other simultaneously. At least one multiple encounter involved five female koalas." One theory put forward by the researchers is that the females do it to attract males; another is that it is simply hormonal, or that it is a stress reliever. Scientists from the University of Queensland studied 130 koalas in captivity and will publish their results in the journal Applied Animal Behaviour Science. "Our aim was to determine the extent of differences in the homosexual and heterosexual behaviour of female koalas and thereby to determine the purpose of female homosexual behaviour in the koala," say the researchers. "Wild koalas brought into captivity clearly display homosexual behaviour on a regular basis. A total of 15 heterosexual and 43 homosexual interactions were recorded in separate animals. Homosexual behaviour was restricted to females only. Heterosexual encounters were typically twice as long as homosexual encounters," they add. |

Very interesting! Funny too! What if the religious right get a hold of this story? Some of them say gay people should be crucified. Isn't the poor koala a threatened species? Little guys have no chance now. Koala crucifixion stories are something to look out for now. QUOTE 'On several occasions more than one pair of females shared the same pole' Does that suggest cohabitation or a threesome? :) Kidding aside, one thing that I found it interesting was the so called experts give explanations that reveal more about themselves than the koala. For me, it backs up what I said about people’s attitude. Look at their theory for example, I quote; 'One theory put forward by the researchers is that the females do it to attract males; another is that it is simply hormonal or that it is a stress reliever' OK...........................So..............they are gay, so they can be straight? The hormonal thing almost knocks on the 'gay gene' door for one. Also, I'd be interested to see if that is a man who thinks that. That smells a bit chauvinistic. Maybe it's 'that time of the month' too!! Stress reliever??? Aren't they stoned off their heads all the time from eating eucalyptus leaves? If these guys are still stressed after eating them, can you imagine them without these leaves to eat? I see a koala version of TV show South Park's character called Tweek, his parents have a coffee shop and he's been raised drinking coffee!!! Yikes!! Another couple of comments also interested me, again I quote; 'The furry, eucalyptus-eating creatures appear to develop this tendency for same-sex liaisons when they are in captivity. In the wild, they remain heterosexual' Just because it hasn't been observed in the wild doesn't mean it does not happen in the wild. Remember this was observed by scientists who have digital cameras that film them 24/7. Another point to consider is what this implies. That if they are living 'naturally' they are straight, but if you place them in an 'unnatural' environment, they turn gay. Again, I quote; "Our aim was to determine the extent of differences in the homosexual and heterosexual behaviour of female koalas and thereby to determine the purpose of female homosexual behaviour in the koala," say the researchers' The 'extent of differences' I feels that says much more about how we are conditioned to think by society. It doesn't surprise me that they feel that by studying this a 'purpose' will be discovered. So in other words, there must be an agenda, why else would they do it? I think I know the answer, it's simply natural behavior. Why do humans have sex with someone else? gay, straight, bi, whatever the case may be, generally it's about bonding. A need to have contact or comforting each other. Maybe they say to each other, 'They want to watch? Kinky buggers. Let's give em a good show girls!!' Now I may appear to be over thinking or even paranoid by making these points. But throughout history, gay people have been persecuted time and time again. In many parts of the world even today it is a crime with varying degrees of punishment. I'm fortunate to live in a free society and generally have no problems. But I have directly experienced homophobia, so being paranoid really has to do with survival. The George Bush's & Sadams of this world force me to. Reading about how the Nazis manipulated people through propaganda was another eye opener. The most dangerous thoughts are the ones that are not spoken. Implications are easily hidden with clever words. Not recognising an implication doesn't mean the true point doesn't get through. Personally speaking, it confirmed to me the conclusions the presenter had in the TV show I watched. Fascinating stuff!! Thanks for posting it. peace BULLZdawg |

Hello sweetwater, and assuming you're a "boy" over 18 :welcome: to the forum! I'm sure a look through the male homemade section here will show you that we have many many "old boys" who love boy dogs and love to suck them, and this is not related to their human sexuality. G@y (censored for Bullzdawg  ), bi or straight, a doggy cock is a joy forever! I have a 23 year old stallion who stood at stud for many years, but is showing a marked sexual interest in another stallion. His intentions are unmistakable (and not very honourable!). One of these days I'll have my camera handy, when I get around to figuring out how to take & upload video! I would say he's bi not gay, because given the choice he would pick a mare every time, but if none is available - well, a fella has needs! Like prisoners, I guess. BTW - no offence intended Bd ;) |

ROFLMAO!!!!! Very kind of you to think of me. :) What can I say, I must have been suffering from a mild case of the newbies! It manifests itself in the form of hiccups and you tend to trip up once or twice. Foot in mouth is another unfortunate side effect. I'm happy to say after a few healthy doses of BF I have cleared most the problem. I just suffer slightly from red face now. But laughing at myself should clear that up eventually!! :D To prove that my treatment has been effective; gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay This parade is dedicated to you dude! Hope you enjoyed it! :P peace gay BULLZdawg |
