Does anyone know of a .bin codec for Windows Media Player? In the past I've used VLC but I'm really trying to keep my computer clean of clutter.

must add this question to the topic:
what codec is the best one, when you will get most video-playtime on lowest filesize? comparing , i.e., mpg1/Mpeg-VCD and .AVI - this will end up in a big WOW from me! MPG 1 = burn a 650 - 700 MB CDR = having ~45-50 minutes onto a disc. .AVI = be able to change anything, like ratio/compression-rate/codec?/etc. is there any "better (good picture/quality while having a size of zeor bytes ;) )" codec on the video-compression-market or not? |

i tried all these options for a codec but it still will not play
have the most updated version of media player but still won't work HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I tried the download MPEG suggested as well as the one suggested by deerhunter. Neither worked. I have the AVI player installed on my desktop computer which I downloaded some time ago from a BF link. I can no longer find that BF link - all I want to do is to be able to play BF clips & movies on my new laptop. I tried the search function and could find nothing except the codec players which did not seem to work.
