Methods of contruction, production and consistence in the product should be paramount IMO...

A CNC milling machine and a decent CAM program could be used to create molds for the complex surfaces used in a realistic inflating animal dildo that would have varying thickness and shape to get "realism". I have the CNC mill and CAM but no or rather little CAD ability with freeform (my cad program sux as well). Also do not know much about the internal structure or "feel" of different parts to know what to make really soft, really hard, rigid, flexible etc.

Probably wouldn't look to real in the end but I'm sure it would be closer than a "poke a hole in it and inflate" approach (something I refer to as "the balloon approach"). The internal structure could be more closely mimicked using a "tough" rubber or silicone. Once that is pieced together the whole thing gets coated with a think layer of really "soft" and stretchy silicone so it feels more "fleshy".

Would be quite an undertaking I wonder what the $$ potential would be. The cost to make just 1 would be insane :P so there would also need to be a fair demand for the item(s). Using materials that require lots of pressure could create a problem as well. They would help retain a "realistic" shape but since any sudden break would expel the contents through the break under pressure as the rubber material tries to return back to its normal shape a possibility for injury... (air,water whatever was used to fill it).

Dunno that is like a worst case scenario I guess and strong material should not just break unless over-inflated. The thing to do I guess would be testing the point at which it breaks and then recommending that it not be inflated past a point set considerably lower than that.

Maybe a simpler approach would work its the knot that would need to pop out of the side of an expanding dildo and get really large to TIE that would be tricky. I have a dog toy shaped like a dumbbell with 2 fairly big dumbbell balls on the ends. Took out the inflation nozzle and just use water through a hose while in the bathtub to make it inflate once I get it stuck in. It maintains shape very well and will get quite large so perhaps just a clever appraoch to hiding the "knot" structure in the shaft of a simple dildo shape would work well to.

Would be awesome if it looks real in color so that it started small and pink and turned a deep blood filled red with veiny texture :P asking too much I think tho...

Comments? Suggestions? Resources on anatomy and feel? Maybe post some pics of the soft and different states of erect dog penis with rulers for reference showing the "top" and "side" views to really get a good idea of shape and size for different breeds. I know their size can vary alot with mood and would need to really get him excited and engorged with blood. The first time I saw my german shepherds penis I didn't think it was so big but eventually days later was letting him try me out... I had to stop because someone came home but when I looked over and saw that big redish purple colored dong I was like WOW... The knot hurt like hell coming out as well and was not even full size yet heh. The knot hurting is not a surprise it all just depends on how long its been since something has been stuck in I can get some serious hurt from fairly small object (to me they are small anyway) if its been a few days since I have had any action there. No not sexually gay with men but definitely play with my own ass.

Anyway I think you get the idea... there is some demand for inflatable realistic dog dildos :)... flaring horse penis would be good as well. I think the realism will depend all on the internal structure so the air or fluid that is put in pushes on the walls in the right proportions.
