hi all :)

the team has come up with simplistic working definitions to help members choose the correct section to post in ie: fantasy section vs. story section

the fantasy section will be used for "what you dream of doing" these will be less formal submissions opposed to the story section -basically as it says - just informal submissions of what your beast/zoo fantasies are...

the story section will be for both Fiction and Non-Fiction submissions - more elaborate writings which encompass characters and story lines...

we hope this will help clarify where your material will be most suitable - we appreciate your contributions - thanXies :)

I like the clarification--though I'd probably go a bit futher and create separate fiction and non-fiction Beast Story sections.

I think to keep the confusion to a minimum, the admins should move the active threads to the correct section. There are a number of clearly defined "stories" in the Fantasy section.

Just my two cents.

I agree, and am afraid I am one of the guilty parties. I have 2 stories in the fantasy section, which I posted there because they were not something that really happened, nor something I had seen in person. I will know better from now on, thanks Southy.

I find this totally confusing. I've read several stories in the fantasy section that clearly have story lines and could not be considered simple fantasy. I consider a fantasy a single event that is somewhat time specific.
I personally have a story with 2 spin offs that has continued to run in the fantasy section. When begining the first spin off I put it in the story section because I thought that was the proper forum. That one was moved to the fantasy section, so now a story I have been writing for over a year is fantasy.
As I said, I am totally confused.

I'm a bit confused as well since I posted in fantasy and have had quite a few requests to add to my fantasy . But does that make it a story? :(

I as well am guilty of putting an entry into this section that qualifies as a story, although it is not a true story. If you so choose to relocate it into the beastiality section where it clearly belongs, I'd be alright and grateful for that move of the stories.

Thank you. The story in question is the "One of my Grandpa's Stories".

Since this is the fiction area, I was confused as to locating this story here due to it being fiction/fantasy.

I am with Freakish on that.

Do we repost in the story section or continue to post in the fantasy section?

I am going to repost mine in the story section just to be on the safe side.

If the mods don't mind, I'm gonna try and clarify.
Okay, the fantasy section is a spot for people to post beastial desires that would happen to them. Example: (My fantasy is to be f***** silly by a unicorn! Anyone with me?)(That was just an example) ;)
The story section is for exactly what it says, stories, fictional and non-fictional, if that story has mythical creatures, it's OK, it's still a story.
Well, I hope everything is in black and white now and nothing is gray.
Have fun!

Ah. Thank you for the clarification. I too was a bit confused as I've posted many stories in the "stories" section that were later relocated to fantasy. Since I'm getting back into writing it's good to have this cleared up. :)

I, too, am guilty of posting a story in the fantasies section. If you would like, feel free to move it to the correct section.
