I mentioned in a couple of posts that I was thinking about doing a thread for "artistic" body shots. Things like extreme closeups, black and white stuff, interesting crops. Playing with color, and light/shadow. Anyway, I've got some stuff here for starters. One is of a friend of mine who has given me permission to post his pics, and then my own stuff.

This first one is a crop of one of my favorite photos of this gentleman. The full shot in itself is very well done and artistic, but I cropped it a bit and played with the settings.

Here is another of the same man. Another shot that I love. :) I cropped this one a bit, lightened and messed with the clarity, even though the original is very tasty.

If you like "body landscapes", check out a photographer calle Bill Brandt. He did a whole book of b/w 'landscapes'. Superb pics!

I think it's a great pic, CG! Graphics utilities are capable of doing really interesting things - if you know what you're doing, lol. I don't...I need Paint Shop Pro for Dummies in the worst way. I've come across the "glowing edges" thing before in my own trial and error efforts.
