Hello everybody we need advice...
Me and wife are looking to have a new dog so besides other considerations like size, furry and others we would like to have a new dog with a very rounded knot. For our experience there are breeds like malinois that had like two balls at each side instead of a single rounded ball. Must probably this is not coincidence, must be in the breed so please help us to decide. Your information will be very helpful Thanks in advance |

The knot is not exact round. It is flat at the bottom, tapereing a little toward the penis but steep at the root. Again, dogs within the same breed are very different equipped.
I would never select a dog for its penis size or shape. You need to live with that dog 24 hrs a day the next 10-15 years, and I just ope you do not toss him away if the penis do not meet your dreams. A dog that mathes your household, your time for giving it excercise and training, how much time can you spend with that dog? These are more important themes than the knot shape. |

I agree with wirehair its not the penis that makes the dog; its the time spent with the dog, the warmth they bring into your home, the love they give to you unconditionally, the way the look up to you and need you. They arent just sex toys they are living animals the need respect!

Hello thanks for your advices, I can see your point but if you guys really know as much as you think about dogs you really need to learn that as it is in sizes colors and morphologic shapes of body there is a difference in knots, just put more attention on that...
And yes... a dog is a companion not only for sex... but as in human relations it helps a lot to have a really funny life, don't you think.... I would never asked my wife to marry me if I don't like her do you??? |

your last posts puts a bad taste in my mouth..
this is your issue.. not ours.. maybe you should be the one doing the research then.. instead of asking.. you will find that most of us will tell you the same thing.. just like with a human.. the size and shape of a dogs cock is going to vary based on the individual dog .. not on the individual breed... I dont think anyone here has claimed to be the all knowing individual on dogs...

Sorry to drive another nail into the coffin but it really sounds like you're shopping for a sex toy, not a dog... :(

To be honest I have never heard of breed connection concerning overall knot shape. There are some vague generalizations that can be made some breeds and general genital size in males. But even thoughs can not be held to be gospel about a how any given individual dog's sex organ is shaped/sized, regardless of the breed. If it really matters to you I would suggest at looking to get only an adult dog, and where practicable (which may not be possible) try masturbation befor hand to check out genital size. But other than that your quest for a perfectly round knot with an ideal shaft size shape etc in a specific breed may very well be just so much whistling in the wind. Good luck B)

hmmm my lurcher has a knot shaped amazingly like a cartoon heart
with the point pressing towards his balls... had a gsd "friend" who had one that was literally like someone had tied a knot in him though so it does differ |

Why would "we" need to learn that... I would think the main thing that matters is making sure the penis isn't too big, which of course is never consistent, why would the color, not round shape matter?
"Have a really funny life", I dont see what you mean here... what does that have to do with the penis being round?
Well, of course not, but if you liked everything about her, except having vaginal lips that dont look the way you like, or her not wanting to marry you just cause your penis has a bend in it or are circumcised, then I would say, get past your aesthetics preferences and marry someone that meshes well with you and your lifestyle. All that said though, from the pictures I have, it seems that it may be more common in boxers, pitbulls, and some longer haired breed i didn't recognize. Of course, there may be around 4 different dogs for each breed that I had, so that isn't exactly a very accurate sample. A lot of it depended on when the picture was taken too.... however, there was almost always some type of "two ball" shaped humps on the underside of the penis just less pronounced in the breeds above, for the most part the top was always more rounded. I am not sure you will be able to find anything consistent through a breed though. This post has been edited by Gryph on Jan 22 2007, 12:05 AM |

It almost sound like you are looking for the right shaped toy? A pet is for life, all animals are different, just like us humans, so what is your real concern? Do you only like females with big lips, or little lips down there, equipped with large or small breasts.

I've noticed a whole different thing with the pit bull/mastiff breeds... the ones I've encountered were...very wide, almost rectangular but with the tapered top... The last Shepherd I had the pleasure to play with had a very very rounded knot, like a ball with the bottom flattened, not very wide... so there's so much variation, it'd be impossible to pin it down.

Once, I briefly met a GSD who seemed to have a knot only on one side - half-aroused?
Anyone else ever seen (felt) anything like that? |

If you are able to find one as a pup, get a great dane. I say pup for the one fact that it is not neutered and that he will get attached to you alot easier. But wait till he is mature enough to try sexual acts.
