I haven't actually come out and told my wife, and as far as I know she doesn't have any idea that I'm a (currently inactive) zoo.

Sometimes when the subject comes up (such as the Boston Legal episode where a woman was divorcing her husband after she caught him with their cow) she makes it very clear that she has a 'no pets' rule.

However, she is into bondage and has expressed interest in attending a bondage/swinger party as long as we keep to ourselves (the idea being to meet like-minded people). This attitude is quite different from previous attitudes she has expressed (very conservative).

So, I think that if I could figure out how to ease her into it and show her that its not disgusting or abusive or anything, I think she would be down with it.

On the other hand, it's taken me a decade to get her from a reserved virgin to free enough to masturbate while I watch and to try the backdoor. Sexual freedom is, I think, a bit of a slippery slope, once you start pushing your limits it gets easier to go farther every time.

I actually just had this conversation with my wife last night. She knew something had been bothering me a lot so she googled my screen name and found it here. I was incredibly embarrassed even though I am an inactive zoo. She said she knows I love her and that she'll love me no matter what. She asked me what I wanted out of all this and unfortunately I have no answer for her. I know it's not about sex so much, but I don't really know what to call it either. I know that she won't leave me or stop loving me for this, but I have yet to see how it will affect our relationship.

I know that she's not into it at all, but she's not disguisted by it either. She understands why I was so hesitant to tell her.
