Not true Deerhunter :) While this video is very fake (sorry Spot) it is possible to collect a stallion on the ground. Dr. Crump pioneered a technique named (very originally) as the Crump Method. Dr. McDonnald also is a big fan of ground collections using either an AV or a bag. You are right, stallions don't like it all that much, but they certainly will give it a shot :) More often than not slipping an AV onto a grounded stallion will cause them to rear and try to mount whatever's in front of them. I'm not a fan of ground collections for anything other than entertainment (hard to have a phantom laying around when I go down at night to visit my stallions) since it is hard on their backs and many stallions don't react well to it, but it certainly is an option :)
