heres an idea that i was wonder that could happen: what if to take a mare that is in heat on one side of the fence and then have 2 studs or 1 stud and a nutered one, on the other side of fence in the same room and see what would happen... would they really mount each other?

:( Usually with two stallions they wont become gay. Instead they will fight for domince of severing the mare, also a gelding would pose the same hazard of getting beat up by the stallion! That is what I know about horses. But I have heard of bachlor colt herds may get gay(maybbe for dominance?) Have to check with more knowledgeable people.

I think "forced" may be a bad choice of words..

Stallions would fight for the privilidge of servicing the mare, a gelding would probably come off worse though!!

I havent heard the bit on bachelor colts, but then again, i aint an expert :P!!

I would say that this is the wrong forum to post this topic in what interesting question and i think forcing any animal to do any thing is wrong but u might have chosen a a incorrect word for this subject any ways peace

You can't make an animal gay, either they are or they aren't. If your horses are straight and you want to make them f*** each other, you'll probably need some rope but that's really no way to do things. If you want to try tricking them I guess you could rub mare heat urine on the ass of the stallion you want to be the reciever.

hmm.. yeah, it doesn't seem too healthy to 'force' an animal to do anything. Especially horses, let's have some respect here!

Oh god no. That would be very bad. Both stallions will fight each other for rights of the mare in heat. Even if there's not one near by, if they smell it, they'll work for it.

P.S. Just saying it is possible to trick em;) All you would have to do is stretch out a male horse with a zeta toy, maybe use breeding hobbles on him just to keep him calm around another male, and splash mare in heat urine on his rump, then bring the stallion around:) It could work.

I believe the "force: comment was just a bad choice of words - but no foul in discussing the topic...

I have a degree in equine science, and everything that I have ever observed, read, or experienced with stallions screams out against attempting anything like this. It would most likely result in one or both stallions being seriously injured or killed. Two stallions WILL fight over who gets to mate a mare. If you get two particuarly aggressive stallions, they can and WILL fight to the death (stallion fights used to be a bloodsport in ancient Rome, two stallions turned loose in an arena with a mare in estrus).

If there are homosexual stallions out there, I would surmise that it is extremely rare and would hypothesize that very very few have been lucky enough to observe two stallions mating. A video of this act would no doubt be worth its weight in gold, however I STRONGLY recommend AGAINST attempting to induce it artificially, or to try to force two very powerful, very instinctive animals to go against their base instincts.

could it be possible to train a stallion to be gay, like as soon as it was born?
Maybe keep him around all stallions and no mares

However, sexual frustration can produce some odd behaviour.
I have a 22 year old stallion living with his 2 year old son. They have always been together and are very close. The older stallion has spent most of his life running with a mare. On 2 occassions recently I have seen him mount his son with a hard erection. The son bounced away from underneath but without kicking, and I was able to administer hand relief (lucky me!). Because of the established dominance I am considering getting a mate for him, a mule, who will come in season but not conceive unwanted foals. Knowing my boys so well, I believe it could work, but I understand the danger. The alternative is to condemn them to a life of celibasy. I'll let you know if I decide to try it, and the outcome, but still not to be recommended! :)

If it is just for a movie, find a large mare in season. Hang a big rubber dildo thing under her belly and the movie is in the box.

Anything else would be hazardous, and have nothing to do with animal love.

Nah... no chance... you'd never get the chaps and biker jacket to stay on them.
