Just incase you do not get it.
This is a deadly thought.
This will cause the major injury of animals involved.
This happened at a colledge by axcident in student handling
The horses were parted by fire hozes.
yes the sprinkler system called the fire dept.
This is not even closely funny.

That blood sport was alive in mexico a few years ago.

The only good thing out of it was when one stud grabbed the other by the neck and flung the horse over the fence into the spector stands and killed one of the spectors by landing on him.

When we collect a stud we do not trick him he is trained to do it. The AV is set up the way he likes it, temp, pressure in the AV, and the handler better know how each horse wants to be handled or not.

Horses have been horses for 1000's of years. Stallions take a lot of care. That is why I have said many times if the horse is not your own you have no reason to think you should do any thing with it. One door latch not closed and this could be the reselt.

I seriously doubt that this would be possible with horses, and like it's been stated quite a few times already, would be dangerious and quite likley deadly for those involved, horses and handler.

On another note though, I have known of a few instances where male dogs have tied anally with other male dogs. Some breeder's I know have seen this with their dogs first hand, but I imagine this is also incredibly rare.

Well ... erm ... this isn’t entirely true..... A stallion will mount another male horse ... not a stallion ... but a gelding ... I have seen this happen ... we have actually used a gelding as a substitute "tease mare" before, during a collection. Some stallions will literally mount anything, and some geldings will take just about anything. some gelding I have met act more like mares than a lot of mares I know ... one of which was turned out with a group of mares and a stallion ... who was pasture breeding at the time ... and I have seen the stallion mount the gelding on two separate occasions .... I was not close enough to see if the stallion actually penetrated the gelding or not. but he clearly mounted, made quite a few thrusts and dismounted ... all the wile the gelding stood there and took it ... yes I am sure it was a gelding ....

This activity is not something I would ever wish to see happen ... there is a reason you have to be a vet to do anything rectally with horses i.e. : Palpations, ultrasounds, etc ... the lining of the rectum is VERY fragile. I have known and heard of many well practiced vet students killing horses by tearing their rectum. I would not wish to even imagine the damage that could be cause by a stallion recklessly thrusting into another male horse … this is spelling complete disaster … something like this is way too risky, unless you like your horses playing Russian roulette like my neighbors do … I know most people out there do not know as much about horses as I do, and I do take this as purely a fantasy … but still really not a good idea at all to pursue.

Thanks Stripes
One of my studs is afraid of mares so we make adjustments.
This is not something to fool with
Stallions are not pets
They are by vertue of there streignth and the way all horses think a tremendious responciability.
We do not trick them to collect them we train them.
If you visit a stallion who is not yours it is your responcibility not to put him or you in a situation where eather of you will be injured.
Check stall door latches and gates.

Personally the whole force thing is unnescessary. Equines are not stupid. This is something that has to happen on its own, either through dominance play or just plain mutual need.

okay its taken me awhile to gather the courage to post a reply to this one. I'm gonna grit my teeth and just say, I wouldn't "force" any animal to do anything in this respect. But for practical purposes, I am going to agree with most of the other responders. I don't think its likely you could get a situation together where such a thing would happen. I'm not saying its impossible, just very highly unlikely.

Horse hereds on open range are small bands with one stud an alfa mare and a few mares to fill out the band. The stallions job is to defend his mares, steel other mares from his neighbor and service his own as needed. Somehow if he becomes infertal [gets his cords sniped] [keep the wild horse heards down] the mares know and dump him [He ends up with others that met his fate by way of blm in a batchler herd of sniped studs] so much for birth controlal.
Horses have lived this way for 1000's of years. They keep there bands a mile apart from the next. Dogs and other animals live in packs. Horses do not.
Horses all have a space around them that they will defend. This space varies horse to horse. Geldings are less apt to vigerously defend that space. Studs will tease any horse in that space but they will defend to the death that space if the other horse does not heed there warning.
They will fight to the death if one does not back down.
Horses think / feal one thing at a time
They loose them selves in sex
Like a race horse running on a shattered leg because he can not feel it
That fight will go on and on.
A human trying to stop it will not even be "seen" by the horses envolved. He could be picked up by one and thrown over the fence or kicked with his chest crushed. No punches pulled in this fight.
The horses would not even know the human was even there.
I know a person who was grabed by a stud thinking mare. this horse loved this person and when he realised his trainer was on the ground he had to be draged away for the ambulance to come in. He never was a good breeder after that. He simply could not grasp all that happened. The trainer was in hospital for a month.
I know I keep harping on safty.
The thought is sexually interesting but if any one were to think to try it they will have a fatal reck. Those that visit breeding farms must be keenly aware of door latches and gates. This is why fence hopping is very bad.

This thred scares the hell out of me several of the stallion handlers here have said o well if some one gets injured there falt. That is only partly so. We must be carefull of our partners safty as well as our own. We can not afford this kind of axcident as it will envolve many people. And the negitive newspaper and news will make our life in this "world" harder.

SOme of th earguments scare me too. Anyway, if your stallion kills a fencehopper and you find him (the fencehopper) dead in the pasture next day, there will be a lot trouble for you and your stallion as well, even if it was the fault of the fencehopper. I think most folks do not realize that.

I think it would be the stallions fault. There is a big swing in the states against the small horse farm keeping a stallion.
Liability he could get in trouble on his own
Other horse people are not use to there handling putting him in trouble.
They are red lined from home insurence policys
There are towns where they are not alowed {no boarding permit}
National state parks restrict them and all horses seperatly
In court if your stallion gets in trouble you pay
same horse same axcident no balls its act of god
Horse shows events if you have no pro card try to enter your stud
You breed one now its dirty do not look

AI the vet does the job so it is cleen the foal just happens
AI the stud has no exposure to outside horses people.
I can go over good and bad of AI but later.

No mater what it is a mess. And for those who care every state is different but in some you can not protect property with deadly force. Some states you are required to use every means of excape to call for help.
Trusspassing is a mess for sure

In court, if ANY horse hurts someone, the owner is liable, regardless if he has testicles or not. If a car hits a horse and the driver is hurt, its the horse owner's fault.

If I catch a fence hopper in with my boy he doesn't have to worry about my stud hurting him... my buckshot will first.

I have liability insurance on both my boys, and it didn't cost much at all. Commercial breeding insurance isn't that expensive ($500/yr) vs personal ($250/yr) its not much more. Towns can't restrict stallions, I've never heard of anyone doing that before. As far as I know CO forbids stallions being out with other horses, as well as requiring 6ft fencing. Know how many people get fines for violating that rule?

I take my stud to state parks all the time, and the park ranger commented how refreshing it is to see them out and about instead of locked in a stall.

I also take my stallions to shows. There isn't a problem with it at all, unless you are in a lower level class. Then its not because the stallion is dangerous, they aren't allowed because OTHER horses misbehave around them and while the stallion's rider may be great, its not fair to the mare's riders who may not have the same skill.

AI is a wonderful thing.

Stallions are not the evil creatures people think they are. People are scared of them for good reason, but if the handler/rider is knowledgable people don't even have a chance to object because they'll never know unless they look underneith. I teach kids all the time and demo collections to kids as young as 6th grade. Its natural.

Yes
New England seams to be the worse. I was paying twice that for liability
I moved
The west is still open for the most part. There is still common sence some times
There have been some bad judgments in AZ however
To many outfits getting broke up to house lots.
As the dencity of the people goes up life gets harder
Yes the rates are still ok but I wonder how that will last.
not into shot
Am very comfortable with 357 / 9mm
I ride with the law when asked
