I would think the kind of animal is up to you.. it is your desire after all... I would also say that you should read the how tos and all the stickys there is some valuable info in there and throughout this forum..

First off definitely build a bond with the animal. A level of trust is a must. Next make sure that if you feel the animal is large enough to cause some serious damage, make sure someone will know where you are, cuz its way worse to die then to get caught doing something that others won't accept. Plus you can always talk your way out of it :P

the animal is up to you, but you should never buy it solely for sex. buy it for love.

Reading through all your posts on this wonderful forum I get the distinct impression that you are basically insecure about the whole subject of relationships with animals.

May I suggest that you get yourself a pet, it doesn't matter what kind of pet, one that you can learn to live with and share all the ups and downs of everyday life with, BEFORE you take the step of sharing your passions?

The majority of people on the forum have a basic need to be with their chosen animals at all times not just the physical moments.

If I were to recommend an animal it would be one that can stand up for itself and bite back, if need be, to demonstrate that it too deserves love and devotion before returning the compliment.

I can only write from experience and every time I loved, note loved, not made love to, my dogs, they were more than happy to give back more than I could possibly imagine!

Take to heart all the good things written here by our friends.

It IS a lifestyle that we are referring to here and not just a whim or a fancy.

Take things slowly, consider not only your requirements but that of the animals, and above all make your lives together a shared experience.

Heya skate4! Here's a few tips you may find useful:

If you're a female:
-Start small. If you like horses, try a mini first. Dogs should be a good size.
-Gentler is better. Start out with a dog or mini that is understanding and kind.

If you're a male:
-Start with a mare/dog in heat. It'll increase your chances of her liking what you're doing ;)
-Not too small, not too big. You aren't going to want to have sex with a Chihuahua, I hope; it might hurt her, and she certainly won't like it. On the other hand, I hope you're not gonna attempt sex with a Clydesdale. Waay too big!! Plus if you get kicked those hooves are the size of a dinner plate. Be careful, and go with a pony or large dog.
