as you can probably guess the woman I met was neece :) only the once but it was enough to make us both realize how much in common we have.... outside of this site :) I have met many more people as well.. we have had 3 successful meet and greets here in arizona... each time 7 or more people showed ...

thanks for the responses guys. I myself haven't yet made real world contact with any other members, but it's very encouraging to hear that for most it was a positive experience when they did. ^_^

whell i've met a romanian fellow on BF,and we agreed to meet in bucharest ...when we met we were so shy...i wanted to ask him a million questions ,as he is experienced with horses but i gave up...and i felt he did same...

I havent but I would like to meet some peolple from the board.

I can honestly say I have met about 25 gals (in the last 2 years) from other sites BUT none from this one YET,,I normally meet in a public place and now have some great freinds,,, Some are sub girls and others just interested in k9,,,But the truth is I am allways looking for more friends!

i have not yet met anyone from this site in person. would really like to (male only, sorry ladies). even then, i would approach very cautiously for obvious reasons. i would really like to have a buddy who i could get together with on occasion to talk to about our lifestyle.

it seems i'm all alone as the only person on this entire board from louisiana. if there are others in louisiana, i'm not aware of it or they're not saying.

In 40 years I have only met one person purely by chance, in a pub, (now theres a strange thing!) who shared some of my views.

It was fraught with difficulties because neither of us wanted to say or do anything that could be misunderstood and yet at the same time we were desperately wanting to share an experience.

We did arrange to meet again and bring our dogs but he never showed and we have never met again, unfortunately. I DO believe he was genuine but of course there is always that nagging doubt in the back of your mind that possibly he was manipulating the conversation.

As to meeting anyone on this forum, I'm not sure if I could find the courage now, I must admit to running a little scared, the last thing I want is my grandchildren being influenced by any scandal.

One of the best things about the people on this forum is that they're all in the same boat. Most are more than willing to agree to meet without any expectations of anything more than a cup of coffee and "generic" conversation to start with.

I haven't met anyone on the site in RL, but I certainly feel like I've got some people I talk with regularly on here; at least, more regularly than I talk, let's say, with people in our neighborhood.

This is fine for me, making friends right here. After knowing someone a while, if things worked out so we could meet for coffee, that'd probably be OK. I really think there are many nice people on this board; I almost forget it's a "sex site", if you know what I mean. Most of my time is spent in the General Forum just chit chatting. I have not found ANY other site that has the sense of freindly comunity we have here.

Now that I think of it, I'll make the following claim:
If this board switched to ZERO PORN, I would still visit to chat with my BF buddies.

i finally was able to meet another zoo ... actually the first zoo i have met IRL about a month ago ... absolutly wonderful meet ... i NEVER thought i would find someone like this on this sort of board ... we decided to meet after literally talking over YIM for three days .. and never once talked on the phone .. (because of the subject of our professions it was quite easy to tell he was the real deal) ... had a excellent dinner, and talked for hours ... an absolute dreamlike expereince for my first RL zoo meet

I haven't met anyone directly off the forum (yet) but I have met other zoos IRL before (some of whom are now forum members).

I found my first meet pretty nervewracking to start, but once I settled down it was fine, and subsequent meets get a lot easier. The strangest thing is that you're so used to "hiding" your feelings for animals that there's a real barrier to saying anything zooish at first - especially as there can be a nagging feeling of "is this zoo for real?". Having said that, all the zoos I've met have been great people, and it's good to know you're not alone out there.

My advice is: don't be *too* scared about meets, but then again this doesn't mean you should be blase about it and run about town shouting "I'm a zoo!" at the top of your voice :).
