Dolphin pods also have "accents" and dialects of their "speech" just like humans do. A dolphin from Ireland will "speak" in a totally different series of sounds than a dolphin from another part of the world. Yet separate pods from the same area all "speak" the same way.

Kinda makes you wonder what else we don't know about "the people of the sea". ^_^

Although dolphins seem to be very horny animals, they won't do it with everyone. You need a strong relationship with them first, they must sense that you really love and care for them. I will spend all my life just to make them happy, make their lives better, this is what is important. The romantic adventures will come after time automatically, when they trust and love you.

Well, then I am glad you care about them. If you are dedicated enough, cant you get an internship position somewhere and start a career like that? If you want to experience the love of a dolphin, it takes you years of hard work and study, and there is no guarantee that you will get a job, sadly :(
But anyone who is going through all this and finally manages to get a job with them, I think all those people are also worth to have the love of a phin :)

ive never looked into starting a career with dolphins i always thought you had to have certain degrees and qualifications

Normal trainer you dont need much.....qualification helps but is not really necessary. Most trainers get jobs because they work as intern before, make a good job, so the boss hires them.

Only the more important trainers (medical trainers, curators) have degrees in veterinary medicine or biology.
