i know that they are mammals, smart, etc but i would still think it would be like having sex with a fish, which, doesnt much appeal to me.

it's like saying: "I know that human is smart, but it would be like having sex with monkey." :D
how you can compare fish and dolphin? Look closer they are completely unlikely. Even that both are adapted to live in a sea.
I don't thing, you must love dolphins, just wondering.... :)

Iguanas and dogs are both land animals, and have four legs and a tail. ;)

Cetaceans don't have fins, they have flippers. Their flukes are horizontal as opposed to the tail fin of a fish, which is vertical. Fish have scales, cetaceans do not. Fish are cold blooded, cetaceans aren't. Fish have gills, cetaceans have lungs and must surface to breathe. Fish do not have eyelids, cetaceans do.

I could go on but I think you understand what I'm trying to say. :)

There are a number of STIs it is possible to acquire from dolphins, and more common diseases as well.

QUOTE

• Researches found several sicknesses in the dolphins: hepatitis, meningitis, pneumonia, and central nervous systems disorders, among others.

• The teams also found antibiotic resistant bacteria.

• New diseases are emerging at a worrisome rate.

• Sexually transmitted diseases are infecting the dolphin population.

• The illnesses could endanger the dolphins' lives.

actually the correct term is Pectoral fin. cetaceans have hair (when their born they have little whiskers on their rostrum- beak) breathe air, able to produce milk to feed their calves and are homeothermic- warm blooded.

dolphins are like us, they get sick just like us, they suffer from the same illnesses that humans do. to have a relationship with a dolphin you have to have trust. yu cant just randomly hump dolphin. it takes time and patience. You have to be sure before you even try. dolphins are not play things their smart and loving, i guess thats why we dolphins lovers want to make love to a dolphin. they have so much and are so much like us its amazing.
