This past weekend I was very busy at a food event but during the times that it was closed to the pubic I did what I often do when I get the chance I wrote a few verses. One of the fellow exhibitors asked what I was writing, as she looked like some one whom might like my thoughts I showed her them and she liked them so here they are for u to read. I have only just typed them up so I guess there will be some spelling mistakes and wrong words used ( words spellchecker is a swine to use if you are dyslexic)

Some of these are ok some are not so all need some work but if one person likes one of them then that’s ok

A Final Friend to All

Death is a friend of mine
Paths we have crossed upon many roads
In my footsteps often does he walk
Why should I fear him
A companion for upon my final journey
With dignity and grace I hope he claims me
Whence timely meeting comes
May the conversation be free
The destination wants-some
The final friend to make
But let us meet when I am ready

Forgotten and lost

I sit alone
Cast of and forgotten
No more than a mere shadow
A phantom of some distant life
On the verge of memory
The burden long lifted
The stain rubbed clean
The taint removed

I, myself spited my soul

The merest nudge to plunder
Into the cosmic depths

Out of memory and shadow

Imperious to the malice and the hatred

Friends - dedicated to the gang banging crew

Along long forgotten paths
The light to guide me
The bands of strength upon my heart

May long our friendship last
Weather any storm
Through joy and grief

The Hangman

Do I alone still see that face
No longer flushed but ashen grey
No tender touch
No warm embrace
No lovers kiss
No kind remark
The screaming biting sound of silence
That copper smell
The cold and clammy touch
The crimson stain
A hollow stair
An empty shell
The memories stir
Earth through fingers
Ash to dust, love to grief
The memories linger further
The rising rage
The slashing strike
The brutal bite
The wanton stairs
The hushed remarks
Two lives ended
One by blade, one by rope
Both by my hands
My hands alone

i will get some one to check the words for me next time - i can not read strage words out of context very well :blush:
