Is our love not true
Are our souls not joined
Bodies intertwined with passion shared
Why must it be a silent love
Behind closed doors
With curtains shut
When two bodies live as one
Why must it not be known to all
No wedding band
Nor celebration cake

They stand together
Those not fit for purpose
The women & children
The old & the week
Whether rich or poor
Held power of old or humble surf
There they stand
There they comply
Whether it for fear or rifle butt or heel of a boot they comply
There modesty and dignity stripped from them
Along with there tattered cloths
And still they comply
Diligently they walk into the stark great chamber
In vain they try to catch the fallen
Knowing that they share the same grim fate
And still they comply
Once more like beasts crammed into the chamber
The door slams slowly to
To heavy to be slammed
The closing latch rings loud
And with its string echo
The screams begin
What foul beast or demon spawn opens that great door
When once the great grim chamber has does its grisly task
It’s no beast or demon of some ancient land
Whom looks upon the blacked faces
For it is just a boy yet not a man with age
But to the empty faces in that place
Bye grace of birth, of race and timely providence
The power of life over death has he

Some really good potential there, Skin. It doesn't feel like you've hit your rhythm with these. Don't get me wrong, far better than I could do... just saying I think you can take it farther than this, is all. ;)
