A long time ago, a male dog wandered onto my parents backyard. Having another living being want me, a male, that way, was very exciting. At the time, I was not into anal, but I did appreciate being lusted after. I remember being the only one of my family who really loved animals. And so, gradually, I started to see dogs and later, horses as potential lovers. I had a few more encounters with male dogs, with some minor penetrations, but it wasn't until I played with a friend's mutt male that I found out about the knot, the hard way. He also had a bitch that was my first k9 female to cum in. I had had a few human women as lovers by that time and dream of someday sharing my special 'tastes' with one. The first dog I ever owned, I ended up with by accident. Some folks had to move and leave one of their GS dogs behind. I agreed to hang onto the dog long enough to fid him a home. The next weekend I had to be somewhere else, and made some last minute arangements for the dog to stay at my mom's house. He ran away while I was gone, and when I came back, and found out. I went to the local animal control to look for him. If any of you have ever made that walk into the holding cage room, looking for a familiar face, you must know how my heart twisted in my chest when I saw him there and he ran up aganst the chain link of the cage to greet me. At that point I realized (duh) we were each others. The animal control guy gave me some talk about how I needed to get my dog fixed and the usual blaw, but I didn't care at that point. We lived with each other for eight years, but he was never really into intimacy beyond oral play.
He has since gone on to the rainbow bridge, (If there is anything to this whole religion afterlife crap, I pray that at least this is true)
I now live with a beautiful German Shepard bitch who loves to play, both in and out of season. I still consider myself strait with humans, mostly. but Bi with dogs and horses.

i guess what got a ball rolling was being humped by fox-terrier who got 'really' into it, never had sex but gave me ideas i guess you could say. From them the snow ball grew i guess :blush: ..

Actually... I'm not entirely sure when I realized. I think it grew on me over time. I started having an increasing interest in animals, and before I knew it my love for animals became a love for animals. ;)

Its mostly long-haired dogs that set me off..not sure when I realized that either. <_<

Well, I'm not really "into this" at least as far as activity goes. Years ago I had a dog and I would take her into the bathroom and let her lick me. And I've had fantasies about male dogs for quite a while, but never did anything about them. They were just fantasies. Recently I've been chatting with a man online, it's sort of a strange relationship, he insists that we both remain anonymous. Anyway, I mentioned a friend of mine who once casually slipped into conversation the fact that she slept with her dog, and how sort of shocked I was that she would just tell somebody that. And this guy just said he thought it was fine. After that I sort of hinted around the subject with him and he came out and told me that if I was having fantasies about animals then he thought it was hot. And also told me about a girlfriend of his that had a shepherd and the things that they used to do together. So, that sort of opened things up for me.

I've always loved animals and been very close to them, just never had a sexual relationship with one. And frankly the ones I have now are more like children to me, so it's not going to happen with any of them. You may think I'm insane, most people do, but I have 6 dogs (just lost one several months ago, so down from 7) and 5 cats. I am a sucker for strays and abandoned dogs. I've taken in dogs and reunited them with their owners, I pick up dogs and get them off the streets, even if it means taking them to the shelter. I figure they're better off there than getting hit by a car or starving on the street.

I just realized I wrote a veritable tome and I apologize for that. But I'm still pretty new at acknowledging these feelings and thinking of the possibility that this might happen one day. Still trying to sort of work things out.

Thanks everyone for sharing. They are interesting stories. It all helps us to accept who we are and what we want from life. It's not about being "normal" because who knows what that is and it's probably boring anyway. It's about being accepted for who we are. We are not hurting people or animals. We love our animals and we enjoy our lives

I think it all started when I had dreams about women with were-beasts. Some years back I let family dog lick my ass, secretly hoping that he mounts me, but that never happened and I almost got gought by my father so I stoped. Then I found art like Dorian Cleavenger's "Animal Lust", and Luis Royo's "Furtive Signal" and I realy liked those, time went on and I found some videos of women with horses and then I found this forum. And started to think back in my life and remembered little thing that turned me this way.

I thought about this question and tried to post an answer that made sense - but the only answer I could come up with was I really have no idea.... I don't remember anymore ever not feeling the way I now do towards animals.... But I can say it is something I think about everyday - not negatively - anymore - but definately think about..... So maybe I belong to the 'born this way' camp.... In my mind, there was never a time I wasn't 'like this'....

It was a seemingly random revelation I had. One day, it just popped up, that I was a zoophile. On some subconscience level, I guess I had taken all of my interests, connected them together and found out I was into animals.

For me it was rather sudden... At the time I had two dogs. A GSD and some kind of mix.. looked like a GSD Golden Lab. Anyway i raised them at the same time from puppies... one day i had come home from a weeks camping trip, it was dark and i went out back to greet them. For some reason my hand magically found their sheaths and i gave them both hand jobs for the first time. They humped strongly in pleasure but there was not gusts of semen as they were both fixed. I didnt really know why i did what i did but i did it more often after that. It got me really horny.
