I tried to order a dvd from zoodvd.com a while ago but I only have a mastercard. So I wait to get a prepaid visa gift card, and try and order a dvd using that. Well no that doesn't work either it keeps saying that my visa card is delined. I have no idea why so I send an e-mail to zoodvd about it, and they don't seem to feel like writing me back. Can anyone help me?

did anything like this happen to anyone else? What was done about it?

we are currently experiencing troubles with the email system.. It is not that we dont feel like answering you, it is simply that we can not due to this problem..

hopefully everything will be back to normal very :censored: soon, so we can get back to answering email etc..

to answer your question about the prepaid card, i think the problems is that it is not seen as a true visa card by the billing processor and it therefor gets declined..

anyways i would personally get a normal visa card and ditch the mastercard as i dont like it when big companies like that try and tell me what i can and can not by with my own money! but anyways thats just me..

So what your saying is that I'm screwed seeing as how I can't use my prepaid visa card (which I waited about three weeks for), and I would have to switch my bank to get a visa debt card (which would be a hugh pain in the ass)

Have had a similar problem my debit card will only work in au, so I am screwed when I need to pay for something outside of this country.

also having a prepaid visa card is a waste of time IMO.. get the real deal and get some frequent flyer miles when you use it :D

It is not the websites' choice not to take mastercard, it is mastercard, they will not pay a beast site, as Mickey said, they want to tell you what you can and cannot buy.

yeah, but Zoodvd isn't doing anything about it. They COULD take checks They COULD even take cash, or even money orders. But nope if you don't have a visa credit card your screwed. This whole Situation has really turned me off, and made me question if I should continue the struggle of trying to buy a beast DVD somewhere without a visa credit card. My only hope is that Crazycowmovies really does take paypal like there e-mail said.

I really don't understand why anyone has a problem paying for their "porn fix" just because that site does not (EDIT: Sorry, should read CAN NOT) accept Master Card. If a site will accept payments by Visa, then get one. All this "oh they won't take my Master Card!" stuff... <_<

If you already have a Master Card and established a good credit history, you can get just about any bank to open up a Visa accout for you in a week or less.

Hey, I have a Master Card, a Visa, American Express and a Pay-Pal account....so I'm ready for just about anything. ^_^

yeah well I found a beast dvd site that takes paypal, and it's a better value then zoodvd so I'm all set. I said many times that having more then one bank account is a hugh pain in the ass. You want me to go around to all the different banks and ask them if they use mastercard or visa?

you don't have to ask, it is usually right on the door, ;) and what is so hard about opening a new account? :huh:
