Dinglish is a very good Kompromiss. Therewith you are gestoßen bei me also on open ears! Vor all, the Grammatik is not so schwer and everyone versteht it :rolleyes:

I have no problem to post my threads/replys in english... i think everyone learned it in school for several years, and "dinglish" is not a good "Kompromiss" (in english: compromise)... gramatically errors shouldn't be a big problem, we (the germans, austrians and swiss) understand "gebrochenes Deutsch" (broken German), so why shouldn't understand anyone with english as mother language understand broken english?

And, if you don't know a specific word or phrase, take a look at dict.leo.org - it's an free and easy-to-use english-german and german-english translator...

And please, pardon my gramatically errors ;)

From what I've heard from the mods, only posts are required to be in English. PM's, avatars, even signatures can be in different languages.

And no, Dinglish still isn't English. I'm sure the mods would rather see a post full of mispelled words and grammar errors than a half English/half Deutsch. And don't worry about English posters smashing you for a mistake. All native English speakers (and members) have been told not to correct any grammar or spelling mistakes to someone, nor point it out, just like non-native English speakers have been instructed to post in English ;)

And also-this doesn't just go for German speakers, it goes for everyone. Sorry that its an inconvienence, but the Mods all speak English (and no, they're not all American, many are European as well) and this is their site-so please, english only.
