WTF WERE YOU THINKING? :rolleyes: you didn't really register here at a zoo site with a internet persona (nickname) that your reknown for at other places on the net did you? your not using an avatar that you are reknown for using on non zoo sites are you? you didn't register using your real name that is unique did you? you didn't post an unobstructed face pic in your profile did you? you didn't put a small town name as your location in your profile did you? you didn't register with shared email address did you? your not using a shared computer without clearing the history and cache each time you visit are you? :unsure: ohhh dear lawd -don't tell me you're even worse off than we could imagine and you actually put your address phone number or email address in your signature or profile? -_- well go make any changes that you can immediately... go - be gone - and then come back - we have lot's more to discuss.... :ruck: done? are you back? good... II. WHERE'S THE F :censored: CKING FIRE? we have been here for quite a while - and we aren't going anywhere -so slooow down - and think things through before you get too involved... "it's GREAT finally finding this place - the people are great -and I have finally found a home!" errr true! we have better than great members who can be trusted -but remember this is an internet site - and JUST LIKE ALL OTHER internet sites -ANYONE can wonder through the door... that is why we have built certain security measures right into the site and given you free access to them... such as the vote system - the 'find all post by this member" the 'registered since" slot in profiles ect. have you looked through a member's post to see if what they might be conveying to you is what their post represent? are they pleasant to all? non-confrontational? have they been accepted by the community and given 10 votes?do they have a high vote percentage in relation to thier number of post? do they particpate actively with the community? how long have they been here? does thier profile reflect any information that they have relayed to you? what is thier motive for contacting you and is there a less than admireable underlying motive? they didn't build rome in a day -it took you all this time to find this place - what's the hurry? stop - take the time to get to know the community overall and it's members... III. THE WRITING ON DA WALL... imagine that your post are permanant magic marker... unless the staff has a need to move a thread off the public boards -everything you post here is here forever.... if you have made it public that your living in "any small town" and then post - ohh I'm off to the mall - or even a more specific location - there is no doubt for anyone who may be watching where you are headed - why is it EVER important to be so specific about your personal life? never create a timeline for the public... and it's just not ink - pics can also be VERY revealing... can the background of a pic your contributing be easily identified? Are you the only person in "any little town" with a Collie -let alone named Lassie? Is that a tatoo of a panther on your forearm? IV. DO UNTO OTHERS.... stay clear of controversy on the boards - do not make foes... there is a reason why there are mods to intervine -use the report button or pm option - but be selective in confronting unpleasantries... better for someone to begrudge a mod than you... think of all the problems and grief that some who resents you could cause you over the internet - then think if they are next door or around the corner... It Takes Two To Tango... of course you NEVER did ANYTHING to provoke this terrible person who has targeted you -sure -ok :rolleyes: but listen you little angel - making a public spectacle of a situation isn't going to achieve anything that discreetly using the report button or pm system to a mod won't -and will save you a whole lot of grief... do you really want to take a problem and blow it up by making a new thread about it??? do you really think this is going to somehow make a angry anynoymous user on the internet see your point of view and send you empathy?? DO NOT AIR YOUR DIRTY LAUNDRY IN PUBLIC UNLESS YOU HAVE A DESIRE FOR SOMEONE TO BE SNIFFING YOUR UNDER GARMENTS! ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE.... or ...DRAMA 101 I can ASSURE you that EVERYONE is paying attention to you -there are more pervs here -err I mean more big cocks here (cyber granted) :rolleyes: than in the pins at Purdue -and ask the fellers there - clucking is not in your best interest! It is not wise to make yourself known as "needy" "starved for attention" -ummm basically putting a target on your forehead... IF YOU DON'T WANT UNSOLICITED ATTENTION THEN BY ALL MEANS DON'T BEG FOR IT - OR BE PREPARED FOR THE CONSEQUENCES!
