Are there any M&Gs in the UK. Have never met any other zoo`s, I feel so alone at times.

As an absolute newbie, I just want to add a reminder to those more experienced (and those that know how to navigate the site) just how tentative the first steps of a neophyte eager Zoo player are. We are very much dependent on the kindness of strangers, and there is ALWAYS an awkward stage in the first conversations. I also realize that there are surely a lot of wannabes and pretenders. But there are a few princes among the frogs too. Considering the forum, I may have that reversed. Thanks for reading. Talk to someone new today

Thanks so much for all the great info, Equus69! This advice has been so good that it has encouraged me to start a meet and greet in my area. I will wait til I have been in the scene a lil longer, considering I'm so new and would like to make more friends and build trust first.

Wish me luck! =)

thanks for the great information. We are in the planning stages already for our next m&g. Our first was good, but we didn't get the amount of responses we had hoped for. This time, we're doing more planning like this thread talks about. Anyone in the NE Florida/Jacksonville area interested in attending (mid-Dec), hit us up, or jokersgirl, and introduce yourselves. We're always interested in meeting new ppl in our area for friendships and playtimes.

tc, stay safe, and have a great time!

Equus69: "Ask if anyone is a cop or part of some animal rights group that will expose you or others at the meeting. When it comes to cops, by law, they must reveal themselves as such when confronted. They cannot lie about it."

Make no mistake people, plain and simple, this is just not true.

Even if there were a statute stating such, and I can't find such a statute, cops are atleast allowed, if not condoned to lie to gain confessions...

Think aboutit... if this were true, there would be no organized crime arrests, and it would be a good way for cops to get themselves put down for the long dirt nap.

Just like DOprah, even though you mean well, you may have been misled, because this is exactly something a cop would say.

So whether it be deliberate, or inadvertently from foolish ignorance, this gives the impression of a set up, and makes me question exactly who and what kind of people are running this site.

I say in jest to make a point... are you a cop Equus69? or a republican? LoL because this is just plain bad advice, and a good way to draw the attention...
so for the sake of protecting "your own kind", and not casting a shroud over the rest of what is good advice, I suggest you edit this part and make it clear. Thank you and many better tomorrows.
