I honestly...don't get how someone could harm a creature in such a way. It's just like cats...the males penis's are very small (the only reason they hurt is because of the barbs) so why would a human male (the smallest of penis's I think) would even be way too big. It's a horrible thing to do to an animal so small. Tis why it's so sad why the only kind of cats able to do anything with human are wild ones which would most likely end up ripping you to shreds (whether by accident or not)
And I highly doubt that by holding an amphibian (frogs are not reptiles) would hurt them like you said...unless you do it for too long and take in all their moisture through your hands..which takes a while. I also doubt that our touch is like acid on reptiles skin or else it would be illegal to own them out of animal cruelty. I'm going to research more into this, but I definately think that's a bunch of bollocks. |

Um... not that im into it, but im just curious. someone said simply touching a fish causes them pain and that means they cant and shouldnt be "done".
but im watching a show called 'River Monsters' and i just realised.. what about bone plated or hard skin fish. do they also feel pain? im not interested in the "do-ablity" of those kind of fish. i wanna know if they feel pain if they are touched. and what about Piranha? is it the skin type? or just all fish. im just curious. ^_^ |

Hmmm, Pictures himself with a large adult female crocadile, and shivers "God that would hurt so much."

interestingly the subject of fish and amphibians is very similar with regards touching, both types of animal have a protective 'slime' coating, the oils in your hands degrade the coating very quickly and also any traces of poisons or chemicals on your hands are very easily taken in by the fish/amphibian. No-one can really know if the animal percieves this as painful but it does 'hurt' the animal in the sense that it will have to repair that damaged part of it's covering.

Not only death, but I think that should go for any displeasure. Raping an animal is not much better than doing it a person-- and by "raping" I mean if the animal isn't into it. |

Hey, you know what, I just want to put it out there right now, being a sort of "bird guy"... I'm into falcons, but NOT like "that". Anyone that does anything to hurt a bird like that is absolutely sick. I don't even fantasize about that...
So yeah, don't look at my avatar and go "you sick fuck"... I agree completely with this topic: birds are very, very different from humans, and the only way I'd ever be able to actually have any sort of real sexual relation with a falcon, is if I were one myself. And I just can't see that happening for at least another 20 years. (Now, oral? Fingers? That's a whole 'nother story. I want them to feel GOOD! ) |

That being said, you're a good egg (no pun intended  ) but we do have some cool people of the furry Fandom here; anyone who looks at your Avatar should see that it's anthropomorphic and not a real bird. :) Birds don't even have penises to my knowledge o-o |

I really love this post. And the information about amphibians and reptiles is quite enlightening, as I've never run across it.
As far as taking pleasure with any creature, no matter what type, I do think it boils down to comfort. If a man were having sex with a woman who was very dry and required extra lubrication, it would be a really stupid idea to ignore this fact and just march straight in. No matter what attractions we may have, I think reality has to play a role in our interactions. As for myself, I find snakes to be quite attractive, but wouldn't ever consider doing anything with them. For one thing, I think my attraction stems from a love of all things phallic and tentacles-ish. For another, if I want to make love to some other creature and don't really care about their safety, that is where the joy of sex toys and fantasies comes in. The whole argument about how we kill for food but not for pleasure is really untenable. It is generally looked down upon to enjoy the killing, or to be excessive with force. As far as I know, most people like to imagine the meat they buy in the store was killed in a humane way, and there is usually an uproar if mistreatment is brought to light. So while people do eat meat and wear leather, they expect that it won't have resulted in excess cruelty. The taking of life is another matter entirely, but in this case, it is to satisfy hunger as opposed to sexual desires; if one doesn't eat, one will die. If one doesn't get laid, one will go on the internet and complain about it. One of these conditions is a bit more serious than the other. |

Wait a minute, so when we catch a frog, our simple touch burns its skin? ...does anyone else feel like a major dick right now? :(

Well, the basic needs are food, water, and shelter. Animals are food (argue this all you want, but the proof is in our teeth... we have canines because we were made to eat meat). Animals can also provide us with shelter in the form of clothing, tent skins, etc. To have an animal die to fulfill our basic survival needs is the natural order. They die in order to keep us alive. Notice that sexual pleasure is not on that list of basic needs. In no circumstances whatsoever will using an eel to fulfill your sexual desires keep you from dying. Also, collecting eggs and milk does not hurt the animals. As for your comment about visiting a slaughterhouse... well, it might not seem humane, but I still think it's a damn sight better than being chased across a field and scared to death, having claws hooked into your skin to bring you to the ground, and then being suffocated to death while the predator clamps down on your throat (aka how lions kill antelope). |
