Male dogs are pretty much like male humans. Some days we got a lot of seeds and can perform several times a day - other days the hydraulicks just won't fire up! Most younger male animals can mate daily but the sperm count will go down dramatically which is why breeders usually space the dogs to every other day (which increases the chance of pregnancy as both sperm and eggs survive about 48 hours. Skipping a day increases the chance of both zygotes being present at the same time)

As for that 24/7 myth it is just that - a myth. Heck, even the Greek Gods of mythology could not manage that!

with dogs it is the same like with men,some wants more often as other.there is no
unitary limit and a younger dog is more active as an older dog.

The most i have ever had my dog was 3 times in a day, dont believe everything you hear !

When we started having sex it became very frequent after a week or two and for a few months we often had sex twice a day and o few toime we had sex 4 or 5 times in one day. We are normally evry day now but sometimes a bit more, especially if we havent been together a few days. We spend time togther sometimes, like the a whole afternoon or evening but not having sex all the time, we spend a lot more time cuddling etc than having full blown sex. Some of the stories on the siteseem a bit exaggerated

And Yes they have tried to mate several times with out tieing.Also the older they get the less they mate.Our one Shepherd he was still mateing two three times aweek
when he was 10 years old.Not all dogs are the same when it comes to sex.

Hummm.....my dogs have been able to go about three times before they were done. I must admit though, i learned from my dogs how to get them pretty aroused. Yes, ther are ways to drive your lovers nuts with desire, but that is for a different forum.

i remember one day I was at home watching a movie when dog came up to me with his intentions clear, but I decided i wanted to bring him to his passions peak before i obliged him. he was so very hot and bothered that the only mistake I may was in holding uot on him a little to long. He became fustrated, ran to his bed, gave me a nasty look, huphed at me and flopped down. feeling guilty I went over to him and gave him what he wanted, three times easy.

I am thankful that my 'partners" showed me how to bring them into states of ecstacy simply through foreplay.

When he was younger I once did 4 in a day, one time only.

Now we mate at least once a day if I can. Work and all. He still is as frisky as ever but really only mounts once or twice now.

Doggie seems to be able to mate properly twice in a session. with about a 20 minute break.
Then its Good-Ohs, a good lick of his testicles, watch a bit of Lassie on TV and sleep.

And often he isn't interested for a few days - don't forgety we (us gals) don't have the right perfume that will get the instinctive mating sequence going.
