What operating system are you useing?? If you are useing windows operating system than maybe I can help.. Do you left click on the file and then save?? Always right click and save as. Then if you have a problem viewing it just copy and paste the file here. Someone will be able to answer your question more intelagently. deerhunter |

Hi, I've wondered this for awhile...and I'm sure you always get this same question, but I can't play AVI. videos...
Is there a codec that I need? If so, could anyone give me a website where I could download it? I've looked around, but I don't know exactly what to search for... Thanks  |

I haven't been able to play the Husky Long Shot video. I keep getting the C00D1199 error. I'm using WMP10. By the way I've also tried the latest version of WinAmp as well.

I'm assumeing this is the movie you are refering too. Long_Shot_Husky.avi.001 All .avi.001 and subquint file #'s must be joined with HJsplit/join before they can be viewed. If you are unsure how to do this tool then i suggest that you read the sticky post by traps. Just click on the link below for a detailed instruction. http://www.beastforum.com/showtopic-54611.html Happy viewing, deerhunter |

welcome to BF,
Klite is a grat codec pack but it dosen't cover rm and wmv codecs. I strongly reccomend "Ace Mega Codecs Pack Pro" (6.03). I will allow you to play any movie on the net. Must warn you however that the file is quiet large, arround 50mb but well worth the time to d/l. Both packs can be found here (freeware) http://www.free-codecs.com/download/ACE_Mega_CoDecS_Pack.htm deerhunter |

Hey! I don't know if this question has been answered.. But I downloaded the Split/join program but when I go to download the clips that end with .001 they end up playing on my Windows media player instead of downloading, then if I do save them, they are simply in .mpg format, and the program won't read it as the first .001 and start to join them.. It doesn't do this on .002+, Just the first..
Advice/help please? |
