Ive only told one of my friends about my love for skunks and she was pretty cool with it. The only other person that knows is someone I met on here that shares my interest. It felt so good to finally talk to someone about it, especially my friend since she was cool about it and respected that I was brave enough to tell her and that she thought how I felt about my pet was very sweet. :friends:

I've tried dropping hints to my friends when I was 19. We were hanging out and I said "I like animals!" and they said "Yeah, they're pretty cool." But I said "No, I like them in a different way." It took them a while but they thought it was a joke and laughed. I wasnt kidding though. :whistling:

And with that same group of friends, I was asked what my weirdedst dream was. I said
" I was out in the woods having my way with a wolf." My friend agreed that was weird and asked me what my best dream was. I said "That one". He just laughed

Other than that, I keep it a secret.. :zipped:

A few weeks ago i told my two most trusted friends about who I am, basically i told them all about zoophilia and its difference to beastiality. Zoophilia being sex with animals for love and not just pleasure and that zoophiles would never see an animal hurt or anything of the sort. Then i progressed to say that I am a canine zoophile and guess what, they were fine about it! i said 'so you don't have a problem with it?' and they said 'no as long as the animal doesn't get hurt' I felt great after it, like a great weight had been lifted from my chest. Only problem is, would i ever be able to tell my parents? how would they react? the people who would accept zoophilia as one of their loved ones sexualities as far as i can tell are very rare. I think I am very lucky to have friends like these, I hope some of you guys have some similar stories that you would like to share.

Look my first post! and it is a positive one!

The life of a zoo can be so confusing sometimes as i am sure you all know, but with the help of those loyal friends i have felt better about myself over the past few weeks.

by the way this forum is awesome!

I have actually told of my closest friends and my mother. I do have to say... my mother was a bit shocked at first, but after about a day she was ok with it, and still is. I figure, if my friends can't accept me for who I am then I don't need them. Being not a very (humanly) social person to begin with makes this easier.

There is only one person i have told about my love and desire as a zoo and it turns out to be my caring and understanding wife. Who would have known 8 years ago when i was sitting behind her in (of all places) psychology class that it would turn out that we shared a simalir love for our four footed friends. :friends:

I have never told any of my family or friends about my sexuality.
My dad would not, as far as I know, have really understood my love for animals.
My mother would be likely to go into orbit. She has gotten rather religious lately, and at her age, I'd not want to upset her with the information.
I've just turned 67 myself.
I'd also be leery of telling my sisters and brothers about it.
I was on several email lists, now all deleted, including 2 that I started (one being a backup for the first). Mine was goatsex, and I went so far as to get a URL.
www.goatsexlover.net. not much there really, as it is hosted on a site where I'd possibly get bounced from if I put any sexual pictures there.
The one picture I do have there is the one you see here.
Years ago, we used to joke a lot about cow ####ing, and sheep ####ing.
Most thought it was just a joke, not knowing that I'd love to mate with a sheep.
I'm not so sure about cows though, as I understand they tend to take a dump about the time you really get going, and that'd be one stinky mess....
Years ago, I used to have sex with one guy that told me several times about someone he knew that had sex with anything and everything. But I never really told him that I'd love to try it myself.
Anyway, I've never really met anyone that I was really sure was into sex with animals. Hope to meet some of the people on this forum once I move to Arizona.
It's hell to not be able to talk to people about what you really like.
But I'd rather not take chances with people that I'm not sure about.
Too many possible problems there.
Here in California, it is considered animal abuse, and I know of one person who was outed by a jealous ex roomie, and was convicted on some felony charges as well.
So best to keep it a low profile here.
Anyway, hope to meet a few like souls once I have moved.

I don’t really feel the need to talk about this, if someone figures it out its ok by me, I am not looking for somebody to excuse me for what I am, I feel fine by my self, I don’t know how my friends or anyone would take it so I don’t risking of telling, and I don’t care if they know about me or not as long as nobody attacks me.

I've been strongly atracted to dogs my entire life. my first sexual awakenings were in the presence of my pets. all my life I've lived with this 'curse'. many many times I've hated it simply because I felt so strange and outcast. I'm sure you all have felt the same.

Then I met the most beautiful women in the world. We fell madly in love. Truly it was love at first site. I'm a very ethical person, and take marriage very seriously. I don't beleive that husbands and wives should keep any secrets from one another, especially one like this. My atraction to dogs is something that I don't think will go away, and I couldn't bare the thought of keeping a life-long secret from my soul mate. So out of fareness to her, and let me tell you it KILLED me to do it. I confessed. I was scared shitless. I just knew she was going to leave me. I feared the worst. I thought she might tell people etc etc. My family is huge, and very strict. I would be shunned and truly outcast. My dearest love and I talked for an hour in bed about. Just cuddling as she asked questions and I gave honest answers. She was purturbed and shocked as you can expect. I'm not kinky or freaky or anything, I just love good old fashioned hetero sex. Our sex life was, and is straight up, normal, and awesome! So when she found this out she was flabbergasted. But she excepted it! Wow what a huge relief. Joy swept over me. At long last I had shared my secret, and with the only person who it really mattered. I am overjoyed. I love her more than ever, and every day is better than the last because she is in my life. I am the luckiest man alive. my wife then went on to tell me a few things about herself involving a dog. Now it was my turn to be shocked!!! It's late, so I will write more on that later, and probably in it's own thread. A story maybe??? haha

I have never thought of what I am as beging a 'curse'... in fact, I love what I am and would never have it any other way. This is exactly why my close friends know, and I knew they would accpet me no matter what anyway. My human girlfriend is also a zoo, however, we didn't know this about each other until a few months after we met. It was actually sort of an accident that we did meet, but that is another story and I am not complaining now :) If I didn't have my horses in my life I would be a very depressed individual.

My college dormmate. We were playing truth or dare. I know, pretty immature for college girls. It was part of our first foreplay session, before we delved into our bi-curious realization. Well, she just made a wierd face and said "you're joking, right?" When I looked into her eyes and said "NO", she just about fell off the couch. I introduced her to my Parents Hound. We still talk several times a month :D Sadly I moved away from my home town, and rarely get back to see her, and her boys :P The only other people I've told, are my husband, and recently my close girlfriend. And all of You! This forum has opened my eyes to so much more! For so long, I believed I was one of the only women who enjoyed their dogs. I was so wrong! Thankfully :D

In my case, it's too dangerous for me to tell the way I feel about animals, for the reason it could mean expulsion from my career (Veterinary Medicine), and the absolute destruction of my whole life (conservative family... I'd suffer a slow and painful death ).
So I'm happy with my "second life"... Though I haven't had sex with animals (well...yet), I share a deep love for them comparable to that felt towards any human family member (maybe more... that's why I choose Veterinary Medicine over Human Medicine).
To all those who cannot share their "Zooness" with their friends/relatives : " Don't get discouraged!, as long as our animal friends share their lives with us, we won't feel alone, ever! " ;)

Just a thought.

Dan.
