I would never let my family know, that would be terrifying.

I only have one close friend who knows about it and they don't mind, that's about it though.

Hi,

From an old fogies point of view, better think twice before revealing your true love.

Most people can handle jokes, and most all guys just love to look at the female human/animal action, but to admit to it as a lifestyle is totally different. Suddenly you become something similar to a child rapist.

A few people know of my activities. The only ones that ever accepted it were fellow zoos that I had meet years ago from personal ads when it was not so taboo to advertise, and most people were fairly genuine.

I had told a few girlfriends hoping for the best. Having a girlfriend/wife that can understand my lifestyle would be heaven for me, but it never happened. One tolerated it, and the last one, after 5 years of our relationship, finally told me that I have to choose between her or the ponies. Well she lost.

If you were to contemplate telling anyone, first do an ice breaker, like mentioning you seen some animal action on the net and found it strangely exciting, and wondered how your felt about such stuff?? I would definite approach it from an innocent curious point of view, and do et very slowly ofer a long period of time. That way you have plenty of warning to back off.

I joke about it quite a bit, but people think it's just joking. The guy I work for just got two llamas, and I've received a lot of kidding about that. Stuff like "sheep on stilts" and things. I just tell them the llamas are safe, since they're males, so I have to stay with my sheep. Well, I don't really have sheep and they know it, but I have had access to them.
I have told my best friend about it, and even have had sex with some animals in front of him. He was cool with it, although he wouldn't join in.

My girlfriends knew.
My ladyfriends know.
My friends know.
My family knows.
Even by accident my colleagues know.
And yes most of my internet contacts (those I met live, those who I keep seeing live, and those just on the internet) knows I am a zoo and fancy horsies a lot!
I'd say over 90 percent know about it.
Took some time and shock effects (especially and mostly from my family) but I got there in the end.
Especially because I know I am zoo, and that I can explain what it is.
And most of all... as it isn't an excuse but it is a big cause: I was a horse in my previous life.
And due to the rapid reincarnation process that horsey energy came a long with me.
Human outside.
Horse inside.
This has been confirmed by multiple persons and "those who can see".
But they were a mere confirmation as pieces memory and flashbacks of my previous lives were already there.
And of course (back then) unexplainable deep rooted feelings towards horses.
But as I have spent a long time taking myself and my feelings seriously and working with myself in that fassion, it has been a lot easier for people to accept it since they see there is a bit more then "just a guy who loves to do horsies".
I am not ashamed of who I am.
There are a few exceptions who don't know about my sexuality.
And most people I don't even tell about my previous life since they don't even believe in reincarnation.
(With all due respect, those who read this and don't believe in reincarnation ect. either, please don't try to argue or start a discussion about it with me because I know, I see, I feel, I experienced, and I don't need someone to tell me otherwise about it! Thank you! ^_^ )

Wow, I really admire and respect people who've had the courage to tell their friends and family ^_^

I, however, don't have that kind of courage. Noone knows about this part of me aside from the people of these forums. Not even the ones I trust and love most know.

Once day I might feel comfortable telling someone, but not now :pinch:

 Yes I feel the same way as most ofyour responders.. I don't tell them that I love my dogs better than I do a human. And as some do have plontonic jokes about such matters you just don't delve into the particulars.. Over the years I have had some of my best sexual encounters!!!!!! Now I have found a home???

The only person I've told so far is my sister. I told her while we were on a long drive together. I told her that I have a secret "problem" that if anyone else found out, it could ruin my life. After several minutes of explaining the seriousness of the issue and that she must not tell anyone else, I told her I was sexually attracted to animals.

She was accepting and took it very well. She didn't understand what I meant at first. She was 19 at the time and had been heterosexually active. But she didn't know it was possible to have sex with animals. She's definitely not interested in it but accepts that I'm into it.

She did worry me though, when I found out she told my mom that she was worried that I'd end up loving horses more than women. I need to have a little talk with her about that. She thinks it is possible for me to change.

Interesting reading everyone else's replies. Thanks!

I have told a few good freinds about my desires with different responces from them all. A few wanted to join in a try for themselves what it was like both female and male freinds. One buddy used to love to come over with his dog and watch me enjoy myself while he would beat off. The one that I expected to be cool about it was the one person the reacted the most negative and pretty much put a damper on our freindship. This bothered me since we were such good freinds and shared so much.
I dropped the bomb on most of my freinds while we were drinking of course or talking about sex or watching porn. Usually start by telling them about a magazine I once saw or a film somebody once showed me. After I get some reaction I decide if I should tell them.

i have told my family, came out on anonomous forums, and told my best friend.
oh and basically my entire school found out when I was younger..... that sucked... but i moved so its all good now.

my parents were discusted by it and sent me to a psyciatrist but once they found out that it wasnt really something they could change they were cool about it. i even get teased about it occasionally lol

my best friend didnt believe me at first ....... that was until he caught me making out with my mare. he is cool with it but cant understand it. he jokes with me about it alot, and we are still best friends.

other than that not very many other people know, and i plan on keeping it that way.

My Vet knows. She brought me into this as I worked for her as a vet tech. In a related situation, a horse breeder knows about me and uses me, but she does not know who I am nor where I live. Nor does she care to. Just wants to know how to contact me. I, however, know about 10 men and women who indulge in this. That is the flip side of this question, and the rule MUST be: never out them. Its their business to tell if they wish. Not yours. Take care!

Stripes,

You got a lot of balls. I can only imagine the teasing you had to take. "The whole school"!!! Just curious if anyone tried to take any legal action against you for animal abuse?? I would be curious about what the psychologist had said in more detail??

it wasnt too bad just alot of people who quit being friends and and alot of teasing etc. alot either didnt care or didnt beleive it. luckily nothing serious came about it, besides being condemned to hell countless times. it is very nice being somewhere where no one knows about it.

as for the shink, he had no expereince dealing with this. he mainly looked at how i viewed the relationship as well as the history behind it. he concluded that it was an early life event of some sort not just a phase or something that my parents thought it was.
