Well i absolutely adore chat and im in there a lot, there are a few things though that i wouldnt mind being changed though. Firstly change the chat part of the room to be more like the avatar part, for instance showing who has signed in or out or who is idle (ie automatically set to idle if you havent spoken for 5 minutes).
Also make it more accessible to change your font colour, obviously leaving the mods crayon colour out so the mods cant be confused with other members.
Also remove the other rooms, correct me if im wrong but i never see anybody in any other rooms apart from the free chat room.

Well thats my 2 pennies worth. I have no issues with chat just feel it could be made better. Keep up the good work.

sadly we can't do that with out software :( It's old and bulky ... we are currently looking into some cool alternatives ... :) they will hopefully be in test at the end of next month.

Currently on my site we use flashchat www.123flashchat.com and its powered by www.topcmm.com
Which offers us a lot of flexibility, also allows the mods like me to go invisble and monitor people when they think we arent there. Also allow you to have additional skins and to put smileys in chat too.

I have been trying to use the chat since I got here, but it doesn't seem to work for me even though i have downloaded the Java thing twice. could it be a setting on my computer that is blocking it?

BeastForum is great but the new pop-ups asking if you want to try out the chat room are irritating. When I say "No", I then get a second pop-up which is really irritating (No means NO!) Also, why do these pop-ups keep coming several times a session.

I recommend this "feature" be changed so if you answer No, the pop-ups end until you exit and re-logon to BF. How about it?
