Allright I didn't know where to post this question So I decided on doing it here. On this page http://www.matings.co.uk/main_frame_horse.htm theres 2 pictures with caption text under neath them describing what its about, and if you look at the 2nd pictures text, you'll see it says "This is a yearling colt teasing his in heat mom with a classic nip on her elbow. She begins to empty her bladder, which is one of the prime results of teasing. A mare with a full bladder, will urinate when the studs penis enters her and puts pressure on her bladder. Studs seem very perplexed as the urine surrounds his shaft and exits from the mare. Usually terminates the mating." Now my question is, in like animal-terms for a horse or colt as they say, to be teasing his in heat mom is that normal? or they mean something else by it.

It's not all that unusual for a youngster to tease or play with his mum..but it's pretty rare for the mother to let it go any forther than teasing. It's not in Nature's interest to let son breed mother. We humans however..have different ideas about what is a desirable bloodline.

yea i know about the humans part of it :lol: but I was thinking when I seen that picture and wasn't sure.

^_^ I'm pretty sure the pic originally was a scene grab from a .mov clip that was on a site that was showing clips of natural horse behaviour. It was (if I recall correctly) a site that was set up to show the behaviour of horses running 'wild' ?? in a natural environment and filming their natural behaviour. There were quite a few clips of mating/teasing behaviour. Most were taken at a distance so the horses were not disturbed.

I've not seen that site around for some time, guess it's vanished..but others may know more ?

I did manage to download a fair number of the vids (.mov format)..PM me if interested and I'll see if I can relocate them
