Anybody here familiar with Annie Sprinkle? She's was a porn star in the 70's and now lectures and writes books about sexuality and the sex industry. In one of her books, Sprinkle talked about Linda Lovelace. She claimed that Linda was very much into k9, and that Linda was known for putting on k9 shows at some hot spot in NYC. Sprinkle also claimed that other women also participated, and that one dog in particular had become quite adept at it. Sprinkle also wrote about her own experience. Saying she was sunbathing naked when her boy friend's dog began sniffing her crotch. Sprinkle said she opened her legs and let the dog lick, but didn't go any further. However I think she said the dog was a female anyway.

Yes, I know of Annie. She was famous for squirting her audience with ???? at the climax of her show. I once read where she claimed she had to drink lots of water for that finale. I also read something in relation to her having an experience with a dog and the Lovelace/canine encounters as well.

Is the book a good read? When was it published?

I've heard of Annie Sprinkle...and probably saw some of her work "back in the day". I've seen references to Miss Lovelace's K9 flicks before, but never the "Shows". Some years ago, I knew a young woman who was doing shows with her Great Dane and another lady, in the LA area...From what I understand from her, it was quite lucrative.

I think Annie Sprinkle is so cool...she does a lot of work now working for sexual health and blowing away lots of myths. She loves teaching with humour and outright forwardness hahah I love it :lol:

Well I am probably dating myself but I have seen the Linda Lovelace flicks of her k9 experiences. Not sure I saw them all but did see several. She really looked like she was into it very intensely and it was obvious she loved it. She ultimately wrote a book in which she claimed she was forced to do everything by her boyfriend, who I think was a guy named Chuck Traynor. She certainly didn't appear to be doing anything against her will. She also admitted to teaching Sammy Davis Jr how to deep throat. Not sure about that either, but it all seems reasonable today. I have seen Annie Sprinkle in person and she was a very sweet but totally unihibited gal when I saw her and seemed to be open about all she did. I doubt that she did any K9 but anything is possible. I have heard that K9 is not that rare in hollywood circles.

as i recall linda lovelace tried to denie her k9 connection, when she became a star, i have the vid of her doing a dog on a mattress on a floor in the corner of a room.

:wub: I saw a small photo of Linda Lovelace getting it, from a afghan hound if my memory serves me correctly. It was in Penthouse forum I think....I was in the service at the time, stationed in N.C. That would put it around the early 1970s. I never forgot the picture. It was on the left hand page as you read it, at the bottom of the page. I had alot of fantasies over that one. Ideas too!

I was pretty surprised when Linda Lovelace became an antipornography spokes woman. I about s__t. when I saw her on the news.HA :mellow: :huh: ;) :P
