Ok so I actually found out what a Yiffy code is and how to make and brake one. Now I’m a fairly intelligent person but when I tried to make a Yiffy code I ran into some terminology that I had no idea what it meant  . I admit I’m inexperienced but not even my encyclopedia covered some the following terms. Any body know what they mean? Or what they entail?

The WIXXX Flags :

Ageplaying
Bondable
Clued-in
Dominant
Humiliate(ing)
Lactophile
Machinist
Messy
Painless
Small-body
Switch
Trainable
Voyeur Anal
Bottom
Electrical
Incestous
Large-body
Magical
Mind-control
Transforming
Watersports Available
Branding
Exhibitionist
Open-minded
Predator
Uninterested
Blood
Chemical
Curious
Infantilist
Mastering
Prey
Scat
Top
Vorarephile

There were more, but terms like “submissive”, “teasing”, “romantic” and “oral” ect. Even a naive little thing like me knew about  . Also I left some in that I had an idea about but I wasn’t sure.

This will take some time for me to type, but I'll give it a shot. Don't expect to find everything as pretty as you might think ;)

Ok point for point here we go. First off thanks, you’ve been a great help so far, and thank you for not making fun of me for being so green. Any way. “Magical”, “Mind-control”, “Transforming” and maybe “Vorarephile” make it sound like this is all pretend but “Bondable”, “Dominant”, “Anal” and “Bottom” are all very real (hehe, even I know that). So I must ask: Is this stuff just for role play over the net, OR, when I see some one with “Scat” in they’re Yiffy code, it means that, in REAL life, with REAL people, they actually like to play with shit. Err, and you do meant shit as in that stuff you step in accidentally right?

Hehe, well here are two from the furry code that I didn’t really get ether. :P

Hehe, that’s encouraging. “Icestous”, “Age Playing”, “Predator”, “Sadist” IRL would be kind of scary.
Oh and I was serious. What are: M: Mucking & Mudding and
Z: Zines?

I think this thread is "informative" enough, that it needs to be pinned. It has a lot of information in it that will be useful to new, or should I say"virgin" furs

mudding / mucking - mud's (multi user dungeons) and so forth. basically chat rooms. i know that a 'muck' is another type (don't know what that one stands for). so, a furrymuck or furrymud would be a chat room of some sort. never done either, so i can't help you any further than that.
zines - fanzines. magazines. stuff like that.

MUCK was a pun off of the term MUD (already stated as Multi-user Dungeon). For the general term, as far as I've seen, MUCKs tend to be a bit less game oriented and more RP oriented, to whatever direction you want to take that in *wink*. As far as I know, MUCK has no real initials, but maybe a bit of direct statement (aka, people just 'mucking' about).

Oh yeah. MUDS (and most MUCKs) are an old style of game known as a text-based or graphic-text game/environment. Kinda hard to explain it without having really seen it, but there should be a decent definition floating about the net somewhere.

I'm really glad I happened across this one... lots of great info in here. But, I'd like to ask, why the furry code? I've always felt that learning about the other's ways, likes, dislikes, and fursonality in general, is more fun through rp.

Here's a question that's probably stupid: What's the difference between a "yiffy" and a "furry", if anything? I thought they were synonymous, but I see them being used as separate terms in this thread, which leads me to believe they may be different from one another.

I know how the word "yiff" originated, so if I were to take a guess, I'd think furries are more psychologically-oriented (fursonas, animal personalities, etc.) where yiffies are more sexually-oriented (fursuits with SPHes, etc.) as far as anthro fascination is concerned. Am I correct in this assumption?
