I'm sorry if this seems a silly question, but I have to ask to be sure lol
How do you change colour for writing please? Is it something only higher rated members can do? Or am I missing something very simple? Sorry for such a silly question, and any help is greatly appreciated. Uke xxxx |

Well, I think I can help you.
When you click Reply and get to the page where you can type, there should be buttons above the typing field. They are Bold, Italics, Underscore, Font, Size, and Color amongst others. Well, you ether highlight what you want colored or start before you type. Click on the color selection and it will give you different options. Blue, Red, Purple, Orange, Yellow Gray, and Green. But you are not limited to just those colors. Some like Pink require you to type in that color. Just select whatever you want to color, select one of the choices of colors and instead of (Color=green], you make it (color=(Insert color name here)]. Be mindful that you have to close off your color section so it does show and you don't color other parts. you need to finish the color section with [/color] or else you have to make some adjustments or look kinda weird. Also remember to Select 'Preview post' under the 'File Attachment' section. It will help you see what you will be typing and help you make changes if necessary or to see if someone posted just before you will so you can change it. And you can Edit your post after posting it but only for a short time after, otherwise you're stuck with what you post I hope this helps you a little bit |

I'm a bit of what you might call an RP "veteran" but I've never had a thread here, I think it could be worth a shot. Just a couple of quick questions. One, is it proper to tag titles here, IE should the thread just be called "Title" or would "Title (first ____ to respond, <fetishes>)" be more acceptable? I see a lot of untagged threads, but there are also quite a few untagged threads on F2F, a site where the majority of the users prefer tagging. Secondly, why is the word "i n c e s t" censored?

I am confused. What do you mean exactly by tagging? Do you mean the descriptions of the threads? The little subtitle that explains what the RP contains? The title itself? What are you looking to do? If you mean describing the thread beyond the title, you might want to put the mini-description of the rp or a few choice keywords in the box that says "Topic Description." If that is not what you're looking for, sorry and good luck. As far as Inncest being censored, there are some words and subjects here which just aren't really discussed. That is one of them. I'm sure you have come across a few of those words by now, since you have 100+ posts. This post has been edited by cheeseyness on Jan 30 2009, 10:02 AM |

Yes that's what I was talking about, I've been away for a while and I forgot all about topic descriptions. I was looking for tags in the titles and overlooked the description field completely. It's like 4:30 AM here, I guess I'm not making a lot of sense. As for the "I" word, does its being a prohibited topic of discussion mean I can't start an RP thread based on it? I didn't even know the word was filtered until I started an art thread. |

It's about that time here too. Ugh. Might wanna ask a mod or really someone who is not me about that rp topic. I'm not sure, but better safe than sorry. |

The tagging thing I'm aware of. Here on this site generally if it is open to the public, you just have the title name and you post any rules in the first post of the topic. The topic description space doesn't allow for much text input so usually it's for VERY brief description such as "Pm for entry" or "reserved for ???". Most of the time though, reading the first post within any thread is where you'll find anything important contained within it.
There are some threads that just aren't labeled at all with anything. It might be better pming someone who's actively within that thread to ask questions about it just to be safe before making a post since you can't edit a post after 15 minutes passes by from clicking the "add reply" button. These are some helpful tips for you though. Hope they can be of further help. =3 |

Hi there,
I am hoping to create a new character but I noticed that the roleplay areas name is "Furries Roleplay" so does that mean my character has to have fur or some such in the litteral sense, or can I be something that doesnt quite have fur (I'm talking about being a dragon of course)? I know I should probably research this but there are so many other posts all over the place that I wasnt sure where to begin thanks for any info anyone can supply |

Dragons are fine. In fact at one point they were the most popular species inhabiting this forums worlds. I think now wolves have taken over.
Actually you can play as whatever you want. I've seen crossbreeds, biomechanoids, dragons and other mythical creatures, dolphins and other marine life, Furries such as wolves and foxs, and even the odd human So it's all up to your imagination. Once you have a charecter in mind post his profile in the Charecter Profile thread so everyone can see it. Have fun |
