theplot, thanks for your suggestions. i will have to buy several dildos. i have tried cucumbers once before and I agree that they work well, mainly because the skin is smooth and actually a little slippery. I can probably find them in many sizes too....wish me luck!

Here is something that might help out a few people, who have not already discovered it (this was mentioned briefly above).

After a few years of some good anal play, one real interesing and unexplained discovery is if I come while something big is in me, the next day there is no feeling of tiredness from being spent. After trying this lots of times it is still curiously true. Now for something much more on-topic:

For me, anal play and stretching is a lot more fun if everything stays nice and clean. One day looking around a sex shop for fun, decided to buy a shower enema nozzle. At that time I didn't know how useful and valuable it would be.

Of course many of the hand-held showers come apart and you can just use the hose but sometimes there are sharp edges which can scratch. The nozzle is smooth and long and can go in a ways. It has holes which make a comfortable rinsing action. Some of the European hand-held showers have a built-in nozzle, you just push a button on the handle and the hose comes off, exposing the nozzle. Some people know how to live!

Instead of sharing too many details please use your imagination to fill in the blanks, the result is (in my case) after only one or two minutes I am completely clean inside, being all rinsed out comfortably by the warm water.

My idea was this is a good place for this post because the rinsing makes everything so clean and simple to then go ahead with your anal play, without worry or concern about making too much mess. If you want to make a mess, well that is another story altogether, heh heh.

One caution, you must be absolutely sure that your "plumbing" in your house will not allow the temperature of the water to increase, for example if there is someone else who starts using water somewhere nearby.

The more modern plumbing controls are very good at holding a set temperature, and can safely be used for an enema nozzle. If the water is too warm it is possible to do some serious harm to your insides, so if your shower has this problem please don't try the nozzle unless you are willing to use cold water.

For me it feels good to be clean inside and out... just wanted to share a good thing for anyone who hasn't tried it. It has become part of my routine and makes things more pleasant for me.

In regards to technique heres something ive found works for me.

If youve just taken something that was a real effort and you know you will feel sore tomorrow.. guess again, say if you did so in the morning (using lots of lube of course) if you do so again that night before bed, you will find you dont feel as sore as your muscles are learning to stay a bit looser.

(if you dont play after a big stretch the muscles go into repair and build mode and things Tighten up for about 2 days till the body has done its thing ).

Now if you take that big toy, morning and night for about 3 days you'll feel the difference, then you need to give you body (just like in weights training really) about 2 days off before doing this again because by then you will feel it, your ass is literally in training :P .

when you feel youve reached a size your happy with then slow it down to about once a week minimum to keep "in shape" :D

Well putting large things where no stallion has gone before :P does produce a cretain ammount of friction and pressure.. and since the intestine is lined with small blood vessels close to the surface to suck up water and nutrients at some stage while using bigger things you are Certain to get SOME traces of blood.

However, having said that never ever use anything that isnt smooth, and avoid like the plague anything with corners because they can and may tear you a new one.

I have a quetion on this topic. While I can at differ times take quit large objects, A donkey sized dildo, a coke can, and several large dildo's and plugs.

I find that I have problems with depth. I am able to insert the donkey dildo aprox 31/2 to 3 3/4" across the head and get the head to pass my the tight area in my anal opening, I find that I cannot insert the dildo much more that a few inches.

With a smaller say 12" long 2" across the head dildo I can still only get the dildo, toy or object to go into my arse 5" to 6".

Is this usual, and how can I go about not only streaching but also increasing the depth that I can take an object into my butt?

You can work on depth too, just need time and practice.
I can take all down my butt a horse sized dildo but it hurts a little.
I think the most i enjoy is streaching and feel my danes knots expanding.
