This is something that I have wondered for a long time. How many true zoo's are there out there. I feel compelled to ask this especially with the amount of disergard for an animals well being that I see. Are you a true zoo. Meaning... does love come first. Zoophilia is the love of animals. With or without sex while Beastiality is just sex with animals. Please answer honestly. This is by no means set up to discriminate against peoples beliefs I am just curious.

Hello. Ok sorry for got to add to this. I do consider my self to be a zoophile. My love for my animals is so strong. Sex is something that will always come last if at all. Compared to the love that we share the act of sex does not compare. Love is what binds us together.

Zoo / beastilist are just more labels.....

As for what I am,, A lover, friend, companion, mate.... every thing she wants, needs me to be...

My dream is to meet a MiniMare who will love me, as I would Love her, and to marry her, so we could share eachothers lives together without feare of the selfrightus basterds, who will invetably try to inflict.....

I prefer a life long lover,, right now I'm sleeping around with any willing Equin aka ( Mutualy satisfing sex without a long term relationship) I love all my partners
thats all I can say, call it what ever you will,,, as for my self I just live with the love of my mates, as long as they are happy, I don't care what they call it :D

Well, I don't call myself either these days.

Zoophilia is a love of animals, no more than that. Bestiality is sex involving animals with a human, no more than that.

In my personal view of my self and my mate, both are too broad and non-specific to describe the reality of our relationship. First, I don't love "all" animals, nor even most. I love an individual, or individuals. Therefor, "Zoophile" falls short of description for me.

"Bestialist" is also an incomplete, for the same reason. I have sex with individual partners, not with animals in general. Nor do I have a sexual attraction to animals in general.

So, though I am both a zoophile and a bestialist by their definition, I am neither by their definition.

At any rate, in general use neither term is mutually exclusive or mutually inclusive. They are aspects, either complete or incomplete, of what you as an individual are or are not.

I can say that love allways ment more to me then sex (i know the usual blablabla :unsure: )

Right now i have only one mate, my current dog, i neither have the opportunity nor the chance to switch or change my mates. I doupt i would at all...
If im a bestialist because i have sex with him then i am one!
If im a zoophile because i love him then i am one!

I concider myself a true zoo. There isn't anything that I wouldn't do for an animal. I don't know if this would qualify for a reason, but there have been times in my life where I have would more than wilingly have offered my life for horses that have died. Was in one accident, where I was riding and were hit by a car, and even though not at fault, I did and do feel that I would have swapped places with him. The same happened this year, as we had a old gelding break its leg in the paddock, and even though I don't like his owner, I still felt that he still had a few good years left in him.
I have very strong feelings towards animals, specially to equines as they have given meaning to my life, they have also given me better selfasteem and selfconfidence.

I thing Zoo is a loving relation with your pet with sex as part of the relation. Beastility is exploytation of animals for sex. Sadly dogs live about 14 years. I have out lived 3 lovers. I have two dogs now. I love them, they love me. We enjoy many activitys including our sexual activitys. It is Sunday morning, they want to go for a romp in the forest, I can tell, we understand each other. We better go play in the forest now.

In Zoo you love the animal that you are having a sexuall.. err, experience with and notice if your hurting it and takes care if it gets hurt.

Beastalists just have sex with the animal, right of nothing more.

I share my home and my life with animals that I love. It has always been this way and it always will be. However I am also sexually aroused by dogs and since at the present time (because I live in a rented apartment) I am unable to share my home with a large dog, I therefore seek out the animals of other people for sexual gratification since I also don't have a human in my life to meet these needs. I am uncomfortable in the fact that I sometimes let my lust take over but the uncomfortableness is not so great as to stop me. I do, however, keep this to a minimum. If at some time in the future I am again able to have a larger dog as part of my home and as my lover then all outside seeking will cease. I therefore label myself a zoo

I consider myself a zoophile. Sex is not the most important thing in my relationships with either people or animals, but it's a nice thing to do if the relationship supports it.

I generally like/love a new animal I've met until I have a reason not to. I usually guardedly like a new human, but I'm more suspicious unless we just naturally "click." So I definitely feel I trust animals more than humans <_<

I'm trying to work on trusting people more... I'd love to approach new people with the same openness I do with animals. But so many animals seem deserving of this trust, and so many people don't...

True one here. I guess my babies think so to, when daddy's been shopping again and brings back 10 kg of bones for the gents to chew on.

I do agree that just using animals for sex, or using them in a way to get sex is wrong. I have talked to one that only had horses that he shared out, so he could get some human action.
Zoophilia is a deep love of animals, where sex may or may not be part of that relationship. When and if sex happens it's a wonderful thing. It is also a natural part of life.
