When I first started I felt both guilt and self loathing, but the desire to continue overcame both. Much later, and after considerable soul-searching, I've come to the realization that this is MY life and there's little reason to live it in accordance with the wishes of others. I also came to the realization that I enjoyed giving pleasure to a canine partner and that in many cases I cared more for those animals (and understood them better) than I did for most people! Thus my partners were not objects to be used but beings to which I gave pleasure and received it as well- in a large part from the realization that they were enjoying me! I've had relationships with women- some of them long term indeed- but they eventually (at least so far) have broken down as a result of such things as disparity of interests. One of these days I may meet my human soulmate, altho I consider it doubtful, but in the meantime my dog(s) and I will continue to live in a manner replete with mutual caring and respect!

I have to say I, too, have been zoo since before the internet, though the internet did open my eyes to more posibilities than I knew of. It started for me with my first dog, who I explored out of curiosity. After seeing how big his cock got, especially in relation to his body, and I got my first taste of him, I knew I liked it. I have doubted my zooness at times, just like teh few of you who posted before me, being around happy "normal" couples. But I don't know really how to go about a "normal" relationship, nor do I have the time for one right now, so I guess I am somewhat happy with my choice. At least I'm not completely lonely with my current AM bull girl.

When I first realized that I was having affection for my dog I thought of myself as a freak. I got really depressed, and thought that I would be alone for the rest of my life with no one to talk to about my secret. I never did anything to my dog like trying to have sex with it, but for some reason I always felt ashamed of myself like I let my self down. After a few months went by, I started not being depressed anymore and finally accepted my self for whom I am. I am happy that I have meet others like me ^_^

I still haven't it fully accepted...some days i wish i would be "normal-boring".
Life would be much easier without all that stuff.
But there also a few times when I am proud of being able to feel that way..

yeah i get those bad feelings... they come, and go. I tend to get them more when im out with my girlfriend, or around my friends, and get to thinking about having sex with their dog, and then i just think what im going is so wrong, but the feelings eventually pass. I also ahve the same thing as Yknot about female humans, and male dogs. Its a crazy world, no?

well maby when i first started not knowing any thing .but my girl at that time ///dog/// ,showd me the way and tought me alot .she was my first and i was hers .together we stumbled through it .she also showd me that sex was not every thing she had to give .the love was second to none .i miss her a great deal but my girl to day keeps teaching me and when i have doubts she is there for me i wouldnt change a thing ,mop.

I've been able to go over that line personally. :)

During the time HeartsofPaws and I were keeping things hidden, I felt bad and dirty for my desires and love for many things. From my love of furry, zoophilia, and bi-sexuality. But thankfully her and I got over it together and today, we both enjoy that which we have kept hidden from one another.
