To me, zoo is much more than just sex with animals.. it is a total desire to be one with them. I have always loved animals and my love went far beyond just the normal "Yeah that's my dog and I love him/her" I remember my first dog Mickey - a cocker/terriet mix - she was such a good dog and I didn't just love her I wanted to be a part of her, I wanted my soul to meld with her soul and it did eventually. She died a long time ago but I still feel her with me. I have had many pets since - both dogs and cats - but I have never felt with them what I felt with her. I am, however of the opinion that no matter how much I enjoyed (do enjoy) being intimate with animals without the sex act, that eventually it was going to come into play as I am a very sexual being and love sex of all sorts.

Thanks for the great post. Too many people just respond to the sexual aspects of Zooism and never even consider the psychological/emotional aspects of it all, which to me are most important. But perhaps that says more about our culture's messed up attitudes than it does about us. It would be nice for a change if someone wanted to know about how I LOVE, instead of just how I have sex....
