I have always had strong sexual feelings for the male dogs we had around our house, starting about age 14 or so. I have yet to consumate a zoo relationship though.

Way after, I barely knew what sex was when I had my first animal experience. I didn't discover the term zoophilia until the late 90s when I got on line. I knew I had great effection for female dogs, but the only term I knew was bestiality. I now realize that I have been a zoophile for most of my life.

I have yet to find an animal lover myself. Living in the dorm, I am not allowed to have any dogs, and even when I live in my apartment, my roommate is allergic to dogs and cats. It may be a while until i find one. But I know I am definately attracted to them. I alwasy wondered what was wrong with me. I was never attracted to men or women, and then one day I had a fantasty about a german shephard (sp? ;) ) and I knew then why I wasn't attracted to humans. Then one day I found this site, I was amazed that others felt this way! :P

It is a truly liberating feeling when you find out how many others there are like you out there. Thank goodness that we have the internet to connect all of us and learn.

I was 13 when I first lost my virginity to my lab, and until the night it happened I had never ever thought about it at all, not even the slightest possibility, but after that nothing could ever compare and I am now 100% exclusive zoo.

Before, I always knew that one day I would play with a dogs dick and blow him. I also could not wait to screw my first bitch. The only thing I wanted more than dogs was a real female.

I voted after. I got involved with my Dane before I knew the word Zoo existed. :)

When I think about it now, I believe I was born Zoo. I was born under the Zodiac sign of Sagittarius, half man half horse. It just so happens that under the Chinese calendar I was born in the year of the horse!
Both signs have an emotional attachment to all animals.
As you can see I've said "Emotional" not necessarily a sexual attraction.

I have been known to cry when a kitten is stillborn or find a bird that has fallen from a nest.
This is something I've known for nearly 50 years. I've had many "Pets" in my life but only a few "Animal Friends".
I try not to use pet when I'm referring to an animal I have a special bond with.

I have three dogs, when I come home from work, two will jump and dance as I pet them.
However, the third will walk right up to me and give me a kiss. I don't mean a wet tongue all over the face doggie kiss,
I mean pounding her muzzle hard enough to force my mouth open.
She loves to French! I didn't train her to do this so I have to conclude that "She" wants the bond with me.
And they say an animal can't give consent......... Bull!

I think i'd been "interested" for quite some time, but always told myself it was wrong to even think about such things.

One night i was out clubbing with friends, when i got home i was drunk enough to lose my inhibitions and the rest is a memory........

I answered "after", simply because (like a few of you already stated) I didn't even know the word "zoophile" or "bestiality" by the time I was 11 or 12 and me and my canine mate were deep into our. Like had led to Love, and Love led to french kissing with him till my mouth went numb every time we had a moment together (unfortunately he lived next door). All I knew was what I felt toward wolves, dogs and my mate. I didn't care about anything else. I had no internet access, no knowledge of such a thing as any kind of relationship between human and non-humans other than the usual "pet" and "owner" thing. I knew I was "unusual", but I didn't care. I didn't think I was "abnormal". I just felt at that time that I was seeing a part of animals that all "f***ing ignorant humans" didn't want to see.. all whom I thought didn't feel the same extreme respect, Love, and devotion I felt for them.
The more I fell in Love with wolves and my mate, the more I grew to hate other humans for the way they treated them, and the more I disconnected myself from human society, human contact including family and friends, spending most of my time being with my mate at the neighbor's house whenever possible and cutting out photos of wolves and dogs from magazines. He was everything in the world to me, litterally. So I never heard anything about the subject of extraordinary Love for or sex with animals. Hell, I wanted to be a wolf myself. But I didn't know I was a so-called "zoophile" until I got my hands on a book on canine psychology/training (which I always looked at mainly for the pictures anyway) that mentioned it in a sentence. By that time, I was around 14 and just starting to experience the concept of sexuality with him. So basically, I'm not really sure whether or not I answered that question correctly. If it's a matter of consciously catagorizing myself as "zoophile", my answer remains "after". Otherwise, I would have to change my answer to "before".
