Despina and Vitra are dragoness, and they have ask us to come live with them in their village.” where are these dragoness , I want to at least meet the one that are stealing my son's away.” I say you will get to meet them tonight mom but I have a question for you. Despina has offered for you to come along too. Would you like to go with us?” mom says “ you want me to go live in a dragon village, you want to drag me away from my home so you can be happy. So it is fresh I promise” mom begins setting food on the table some green beans and baked potatoes.” then she brings the steaks and places them in front of Moran and myself. After mom walks back Vitra says “eww cooked meat, how can you eat that.” Moran says “ as easily as you eat yours raw, we do have some cultural differences but I'm sure that we can learn to live with those differences.” Vitra says “ I'm sorry I did not mean to offend you.” Despina says “ yes we are quite different but I am willing to make some changes, but I also expect changes to be made on your behalf as well.” I reply “that is what couples are suppose to do isn't it compromise. I want to go fishing and you want to go hunting so I compromise we go hunting..” she sneers at me. “ I was only kidding love” she leans over and kisses me. I say what was that for ?” “That was the first time you called me love, I was just showing my appreciation.” mom walks back in carrying the roast on two plates and sets them in front of the dragons. Mom says “ both of you have beautiful bodies in that at least I know my sons have good taste.” Despina and Vitra both respond “thank you” mom says “now its time to eat” both Despina and Vitra gently pick up their meat and bare their teeth and take a bite of the roast. Its amazing to watch as they sever the piece of meat from the rest. Their teeth slice right through the meat. Then I remember when Despina was biting my shoulder and I think she could have just as easily taken a big piece out of me. This shows me just how much control she has. We finish out meal talking about trivial things like the weather and such. Both Moran and I get up and clear off the table and take the dishes in to be washed.

We return to our seats. Despina says “may I call you mom?” mom replies “ yes by all means.” Despina continues “mom I know that Arnus has told you about our offer for you to go with us. I would like to know how you feel about that.” mom replies “well to be honest this is my home and I simply do not wish to leave, I know that you will take good care of my boys and they will take good care of you, all I ever wanted was for them to be happy and have a good life. I was starting to wonder if that was ever going to happen, but it seems that the day has finally come for them to leave the nest so to speak” Despina says “if that is your answer I have something for you.” Vitra and Despina both stand each with two small bags attached around their waist they remove the bags and empty the bags on the table making a large pile of gold coins.” Despina says “this will help you and make your life easier you will want for nothing. I know that humans value these gold pieces and if you ever need any more all you have to do is let us know , I have many more back at home, I like them because they are shiny but they hold no real value for me.”
mom replies “ I can't take this kind of money from you, you will need it to make my boys life better.” Despina replies “you don't understand, where I am from we have no use for gold , it is just a pretty metal, it can not even be forged into tools so to me it is quite worthless and if it will help you I want you to have it.” mom replies “ Thank you , but never have I seen so much money at one time I don't know what to do with it all.” I say “ well for starters mom you can have John the carpenter build you a new house if you wish or just go buy that dress in the shop window that you have been eying for the last few months.”

Moran says “ok so now you have enough money to live on, but who will take care of you mom?” mom replies “ well now that you each have your life's I can get back to mine. You know that I have been flirting with the blacksmith the last couple of years perhaps it is time I get serious with him, he is a good man.” I say “ yes he is, and he has been lonely for the last 3 years since his wife got sick and left him a widower.” mom says I will be fine. But I want you to make me one promise.” I say “what is that mom ?” I want you to visit on at least 2 days out of the year, those days are my birthday and x-mass, since they are about 6 months apart I know that I won't have to go to long with out seeing you.” I promise I will visit on those two days and perhaps a few more.” Despina says “ is there anything that you need to take with you? If so it is time to go, of course nothing large or heavy it Is a long flight and by the time we get there you will be heavy enough.” I respond “ just a few cloths for those cold days when I have to be outside.” I go to my bedroom and grab a couple of changes of clothes wrap them up in a towel and go back out. “This is all I need.”Despina says “that I can handle” while my brother comes out with a blanket tied up with all of his clothes and a few other things.” Vitra says “no I can't carry that much take a look at Arnus's bag.” he turns and goes back into the bedroom and finally decided on a few cloths and wraps them in a towel and comes back out. I say “mom there is only one more thing that I would like to take with me.” she ask “ what is that ?” I reply “ dads ring” she says “i will go get it.” she goes into her room and comes back with the ring in her hand and places it in mine. Despina says “may I see that ring if it is what I think it is we are in very good company.” I hand her the ring she takes it into her clawed hands and looks very closely at the design of the ring. She says “do you know what this is?” I reply “other than a ring with a dragons head on it, no” she says this is my clans symbol and there are only two ways for a human to get one, one is to slay a dragon, which is very rare and unlikely indeed, and the other is to befriend a dragon. Perhaps help them in a time of great need . I would be proud for you to wear this ring.” and she places it on my finger. And says it may be possible for you to find the dragon that gave that to your father and maybe even learn more about him, but that will come in time, for now it is time to leave we need to get there before sunrise. We all turn and walk out the door with mother right behind when get get far enough away from the house I turn and give mom a hug and a kiss and say I will visit I promise. I love you.” she says “ I love you too” then Moran gives mom a hug and a kiss and says I love you mom” she again replies “ I love you to my sons” Despina stands behind me and wraps her arms around me like before and stretches her wings, Vitra does the same with Moran they begin flapping their wings and we fly off into the moon lit sky...

as the years rolled past I kept my promise to my mother and visited on those days and even on mine and Moran's birthdays …

i hope that everyone likes the closure that i have brought to this wonderful story , i just wish it would have been the original author to have done it...

of course i had to leave a couple of things open. almost every story that i have ever read has left room for a squeal, and who knows i just might decide to continue this story later and would need a place to start ... :P

i would like to thank everyone for commenting on this bit of work.

Evil4x4 mimicking this author's style was actually easy for me as this was one of the many stories that I have derived my style from. :)
also keep in mind that in my story i have put a lot of my self into Paul i like to surprise usually good but sometimes i like the not so nice surprises too (like scaring the shit out of someone)
