OK, that was absolutely BRILLIANT!

I'd say best yet, but not to diminish the previous chapters.........

Wonderful detail-- You know your sheep anatomy; love the hands. (Yes folks, sheep indeed do have 4 digits: 2 primaries, and 2 secondaries where our thumbs are.)
Nice ram. Nicer ewe.

Suffolks are my favorite breed-- neat, clean, sharp looking sheep. Loved 'em for years. (Yes..... )

Gotta ask: The Friend in Ohio, who's keeping Alex's animals for him--

Anyone we know? Maybe? Gotta wonder........ :whistling:

Now at least I know what to tell the Tech Support guys in India the next time my software messes up--

Press 1 for "Firefox quit unexpectedly, failure to recover files"

Press 2 for "Unknown Error: This is not a Movie"

Press 3 for "Corrupted plist--Reset to Default"

Press 4 for "There's a large Suffolk Ram behind the moon reading Drive C"

Thanks for chapter 7, Ramseys. I've never read a better description of sheep sex. A 10 for you.

Excellent additions. Thank you Ramseys. My only, slight, slight request- a little *further* with the male sheep?

Well he finally found the best of all, a warm ewe to share the joy. Well written as if you were there for real. That is how it really is. Now he can go one better, to enjoy the Ram as nature intends.
So the Bar Keep will have to have a pen of sheep, which will make the Dane very jealous. But the ram could give the Dane some extra deep service.
Thanks for some enjoyable reading. so close to true. Baaaaa!

I have been thinking- a dangerous ,exhausting exercise.
We Humans tend to outlive our loving pets. Eventually however, we Humans have to pass on too.
But, what if that big Ram really is hiding behind the Moon watching our every move?
If we go to one of those other far away planets, will all our animal loves be waiting for us?.
Doubtless, they will look to us for loving carreses, feeding and--- .
But will those dominant male Stallions, Bulls , Rams , Bucks , Dogs have breeding rights over us?.
The Head Ram, with the soft white fleece, penetrating yellow eyes, gentle lick, but the biggest balls of all. will doubtless be in Command.
If it is Heaven we will enjoy it, if it is H--l we must just take it as it is given or taken.
Be kind and gentle with yours pets. My Ram is very close and gentle, but his eyes go deep into me. He knows.
But that big Ram out there might be watching

Don't know if we're being watched by intelligent sheep or not, (well, stranger things have happened--what if they're already in our flock, watching us  ), but there's more than ample reason to treat our animals well. Moral, ethical, because they give us joy, financial as well.
I get 4 to 6 times market price for my animals, and am frequently sold out. And not selling "trained Zoo animals" to Zoo's, just healthy, friendly, good humored, good looking critters people want to buy.

Treat your critters with respect; you can't go wrong with that.......

I know what you're going through, Ramseys. Moving a residence is hard enough but moving a farmstead can be hell. I've done it twice and it was quite a job both times. Here's hoping everybody settles in well and the new place is better than the old.
